Hi I was just attempting to make a sub domain when I found your video. How do I make one? I bought the domain two years ago on godaddy. I pointed it to cloud flare. Can’t remember why. I think it was for hosting. Now I need a sub domain to make another site but I’m confused. I’m on the dns records page. another video said add the IP address of the host 🤷🏽♀️. I thought the host is cloudflare. Where do I get that ip address from?
Hi, sorry for the confusion but my video is only showing how to connect your top level domain to Godaddy. for your question, Cloudflare is not a host so you need to host the new website you want to create on your host provider first then they will give you an IP address to put it in your DNS. After you get this IP go to DNS in your Cloudflare dashboard and create an "A" record and add the subdomain in the "Name" field and the IP which you got from your host in the "IPv4 address" field. so if your subdomain is "sub.test.com" you will add "sub" in the name field. if you don't know how to create a website from your host provider you could search RUclips for how to do that. if you don't have a host yet subscribe to our channel and we will release a video soon on how to get a 1 year host for free.

Is it true that sometimes after adding site to cloudflare some people have issues accessing the there website or emails
I never had such problem myself but, sometimes the DNS may take a bit longer to be applied globally
