How far would you be able to go before the battery depletes/needs charging (from full) when towing?

It’s always interesting when reviewers talk about mpg on a plug in hybrid. Mpg is indicative of what it’s going to cost to run the car and the electricity cost needs to be factored in as well. So whether you pay £10 in petrol, or £5 in petrol and £5 in electricity, either way, your journey has cost you a tenner !

Are there many charging points that can accommodate electric cars as well as a caravan ?
    18 MPG wow that's good !!!

Totally out of touch, who wants to pay over £80k for a towcar. Time these reviews got real.

I want this car but not to tow. I currently drive 530i Touring so could be a good upgrade. Unfortunately I cannot afford it.

People who have the money and want a nice car, but also need to tow. Not out of touch for some people.

If you can afford the x5 50e you definitely can afford not to have to subject yourself to holidaying in a caravan.

We have a couple of beemers on the drive and love them. That dash is awful, BMW have shot themselves in the foot as far as I’m concerned, won’t be owning anything with that dashboard 👎

BMW engineers are already crying that you leave...

Why is it so wilfully ugly? I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I couldn’t look past that hideous front end, however good the car might be.

The new BMWs look awesome from the front lol. Definitely a preference thing.

Are there really people with this much money to spend on a car who go caravanning?
