LIttle bit awkward timing since this build just got partially nerfed in the update that came out a few hours after I recorded it but it should still be overall strong.
Will you be recording vids in ranked going forward? I know you were talking about it becoming more difficult to a good game where you don't have to be 100% locked in. Regardless won't change my viewership 😁
@@silxer3154 I can say that at least for infernus, it's barely noticeable. If you build right you can still outheal 3-4 people and even through multiple cc abilities
I got it this past weekend and I had the same thought. I had to finally watch a video on how all the items work because I was just copying the builds that people had made and it just wasn’t working out for me at all and I couldn’t figure out why. After watching that video I got a much better understanding on how the items work and why you can’t just simply copy builds. You have to adapt it to the builds the enemies are doing and in team fights only target the enemies that are weak to your build. For example if you’re going for a gun build on Haze you don’t want to be trying to shoot the enemy with lots of bullet armor. Also I come from an FPS background so playing a MOBA shooter is definitely weird for me. I’m overall enjoying it though
Wouldn't have ricochet been a better choice over crippling headshot this game ? In the pit fight ricochet would have gone hard. Does it propagate toxic bullets ? Also I think ricochet didn't target mcginnis turrets in that patch, but in new patch ricochet will have huge value against mcginnis
Because they nerfed life steal item stacking in general, along with nerfing his early game which is already bit weak, and they also nerfed toxic bullets which is core to any infernus build. He got nerfed but not gutted which is nice. They just need to bring the weaker heroes up, not destroy a good hero.
I always pop active when I can since I use the logic of ''Well I'm probably not getting into a huge fight in the time it takes for cooldown anyways, might as well reap the benefits on NPCs.''

active reload + quicksilver reload is too much, Rapid rounds is the key to get the burn fast, i thought you were going for ricochet when you skip it , ricochet adds too much fire rate , i dont know about crippling headshot you were bodyshoting, healing boster is cheap and perfect for infornus.
Okay so I don’t understand, a little before 20 minutes you die to Lash and his improved burst does 300 according to the death recap. But in the patch this was on the item does 9% of max hp and you only have about 2100. Why is it doing a time and a half what it should?
19:42 improved burst is from Lady Geist, she probably has malice 4 or 5 malice stacks on him (they don't show in the UI on that patch) for +60% or 75% damage and his spirit resist was only 17% because of mcginnis' escalating exposure. So with 2200x0.09x1.75x(1-0.27)=287 Close but not quite 301 I must be missing something Edit: could be soul shredder bullet for an additionnal 10% spirit damage amp or escalating exposure with +5% spirit amp per stack. With +10% spirit amp we end up at 304 which is quite close. I'm not sure I'm calculating things correctly though
Infernus with Toxic Bullet + Healbane is such a menace, especially once you get ricochet rounds on, any team fight makes heals being ineffective, you can shutdown 7 in his ult by just left click, and 1v1 against a kelvin in his own globe becomes an advantage for you instead of him. its so disgusting how effective he is while having such simple kit. Then add inhibitor on end-game and no one out trades your damage. Yea, seeing the match, healbane should've been a part of the build, that insane healing reduction from TB and HB just really makes heals non existent since on endgame everyone just have some form of life steal from spirit or bullet damage on top of giving you heal if you secure the kill, then instead of crippling headshot, go for ricochet, I know its more single target damage, but the impact of ricochet in team fight as infernus is just sooo big and annoying to deal with. Also, Ricochet helps you deal with McGinnis and her turret better.
Um. You know Antiheal is Multipicative right? The enemy team will still be able to heal through toxic bullets + healbane. For example if you decay someone while also having healbane. You only apply 70% antiheal. Not 90%. Healbane is overkill on the antiheal as you're not getting the full effect. Probably only applying 75-%ish antiheal with toxic bullets + healbane. Most things are multiplicative in value, besides Ability range, Gun damage, and spirit power. Everything else to my knowledge has DR.

All I'm saying is it's worth getting another item instead of healbane. If you can afford it, Mystic slow + Toxic bullets with ricochet would give more value. Especially to heroes that rely on bullet lifesteal. Since you're reducing their firerate. The slow is a nice effect as well for chasing, and would be effective if you need to leave the fight since they move slower. I'm not saying healbane is a bad item. It's good. I just think you could get more value out of infernus by replacing it. Since Toxic bullets is such a core item on him.

I think he’s the only character I can think of where if you ask what his weakness is I wouldn’t have an answer. Even some of the more absurd feeling things that are hard to contest like Haze, McGinnis, Bebop, or Seven ults you can at least… stun them out of the absurd thing they do. You stun an Infernus who runs in on your team to dumpster them, what’s your reward? …you get stunned back and he’s probably up before you cause his stun went off after yours and by the time you get up you’re burning and he’s healing. Enjoyable video though, I just can’t stand how much this character gets handed to him.

Take it step by step, one trick a easy character until you can grasp all the other concepts (laning, map knowledge, ojectives, items etc.)

Hey Mast, at the end score screen you can mouse over the characters and see all the items they had. You can do it in your match history too I believe.
You can also do it in the match, you don't have to wait 'till the end
This is my favorite build and hero lol, been rocking it since the game dropped. Sad to see it nerfed :c
ricochet goes VERY hard on infernus for late game teamfights - Each bounce procs toxic + fire so easily double or triple the DPS.
I've been seeing it a lot lately. Infernus base damage is just so high that he can run around with 4k hp and still melt everyone.
