Hello Gaynor! I came across your channel a few weeks ago and I just finished watching all of your videos! I just couldn’t get enough! You are such a genuine person, so full of ideas and enthusiasm. You are so open to exploring and experimenting and taking advice from others. I hadn’t been painting for few months and you have motivated me to get started again. I followed your lead of not knowing what to expect but to just get started. I also painted two sketch book covers! Thank you, thank you for all that you have shared, you are so generous. I anxiously await more videos! I follow many people but this is the first time I have ever commented, I just had to let you know how much I enjoy your work and your videos.
Hello Kate and a big Welcome ! WOW....such a wonderful compliment, heartfelt thanks, it really means a lot 🥰 I love to hear from new viewers and really enjoy knowing what other artists are up to.....great to read that you are feeling motivated - you've made my week XX
Morning Gaynor, yet another great video. Thursdays are always something to look forward to, your energy and enthusiasm get me set up for the week with my own art. Since finding your channel I have got back to creating something every day and making it a priority to find the time to do so. Thank you so much as always, Wendy in Norfolk 😃xx
Hi Gaynor, You come across as such a lovely human ❤ A joy to watch 🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️ You look like you’re eating, sleeping, walking Art 😄 SO productive! I’m not into your sea scapes so much…..’SO MANY’ Artists do them ….they are everywhere 🫤. I like the art that makes YOU unique, makes YOU, STAND out. Your Joyful florals, vegetables, crazy birds, still life, abstracts etc. You are SO talented at these! They show so much of your playful, joyous personality. The sea scapes look very generic to me. I know you are on a journey with it but please don’t lose your Amazing Artistic voice and story. I do hope you don’t mind me expressing my opinion, (it’s just MY opinion, up to you what you do with it) I just like to be open and honest and talk to you as I would a friend. I still think you are an Awesome person and Artist. ❤❤❤
Hello Teressa, I absolutely DON'T mind at all....a thought struck me the other day on the boat painting......'is this boring' and 'how can I make it speak' !!! I know there will be fails but as you say, I think and I hope that I will work it out (if that makes sense). I love your honesty and thank you for it XX

I’ve been using acrylic on watercolor paper for a while now so today you’ve really challenged me. I finished a collage using scraps of the acrylic painted watercolor paper, sort of a mosaic of a still life with lemons. And I would really like to cut four squares like your examples today! Also, Love what you’ve done with the boat! Looking forward to getting loose next week. Thanks so much for your unapologetic self!! You are delightful to watch!❤
Hello Patricia, I could kick myself now, we found some lovely handmade thick watercolour paper on the Cadiz trip and I could have cut it to fit my backpack!!!! I hope you do have a go at a series - I'm definitely having another session. I really appreciate your kindness, thank you X
Good morning Gaynor!! You're gifted to have so much enthusiasm...its contagious...:) It alway amazing how you use all your paint up. Awesome ideals for the week. thanks!!
Fun to catch a glimpse of paintings - the brown with the chair is still appealing and I was drawn into the warm house with the cactus. That was so cozy looking - there is something of the colors that are relaxing. I know that isn’t where you are at the moment but I’m happy to see that you’ve not abandoned the thought of it. I liked using the dried flower stem as an inspiration for a tree. I frequently “see” other things in a shadow, clouds, trees etc. Most of my friends think I’m nuts or being a bit childish but it’s how my brain works. 😆 I appreciated your comment of struggling with an idea but just start messing about and things develop, you are then open an idea/ memory. I do believe I’ll try to be better at that. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week.
Oh you do make me smile with your wonderful enthusiasm 😊 You have so many ideas and plans I sometimes wonder how you keep up with yourself! Once you speed up the filming and I hear your speech and scratching marks going at top speed I think - Yes! Your hands have caught up with your thought process 😂 I really enjoy watching. Thank you so much. Jill R
Your tree idea was genius and I love all the variations you have done. The burnt sienna is gorgeous and gives the landscapes an Aussie vibe - or could just be me! Thank you for another inspiring video Gaynor x
