    Admittedly, I just discovered Jack today. Some of my tunes are folk; the lyrics lean on country. I have nothing but respect for musicians like Jack.

      Totally, and he mostly admits it. Of course, Woody borrowed melodies and lyrics all his life, from other singers who had learned from other songwriters, back to our prehistoric ancestors.

      @@danymarique1677 100% true; Portland Town is Derroll's. Ramblin' Jack was only his touring mate for some time.
