Very great job on the video. I think it would’ve been easier if you would’ve disconnected those wires so they would’ve got so much stress and just completely dropped the whole tank. It would’ve been a lot easier but either way 100% to you because you still got the job done
In the beginning you say 2011 smart car. In the end you say 2010 smart car :) it's the same, but it was funny for me to notice :) great video, I watched it multiple times as I am doing the same work, thank you
Appreciate the video, thanks. Would be better if complete job was shown (first cover) and more camera angles (showing clips on top). No down vote though, but no up vote either.
Why did you not disconnect the evap lines and pigtails to drop it all the way? Getting ready to do this to my smart, but I dont have a lift, just jack stands, so hoping I can drop it all the way.
how did you know it was a the fuel pump, my car wont start today, sounds dry like there is no fuel going in to the intake but i don't know if it is the fuel pump or something else,, how do you test the lines?
@@mr.bearded-homesteader5584 Yes I know... it's just compaired to "the future" being EV"s ( :-) ) they are even more difficult to repair, due to all being computer coded. That's what the word "TODAY" was for.

Yeah, I hear. Yeah sometimes those shortcuts aren’t so easy.

Yeah, warm climate Tampa Florida
Keep pushing, loving your work and videos.
Thanks I’m doing my best appreciate the views
But appreciate the video none the less. Thank you!
I wish you listed the sockets and other tools needed in the description. I’m going to do this soon.
Oh, you’re right. Sorry about that.

Yeah I hear what you’re saying. Sometimes we going back-and-forth for a job kind of gets lost in the paperwork LOL
Is there enough of a gap between the car and the gas tank that one could reach in and replace the fuel pressure sensor without dropping the tank down?
Unfortunately you’re gonna have to drop the tank
Hi, really good job! How much does it cost on average to do this job?
Just to remove the tank and repair the hose about $100
What a brand of fuel pump that you used?

Was you able to do it just with the jack stands?
