I said it in week 1 when Maddox went down that Ricks should start in the slot. I saw enough in preseason against the Colts starters plus I watched the way he moved and Ricks seemed to be really sticky in coverage. I could tell right away he's a starter. I think maybe you keep him out there even when Roby is healthy.
I was at the game and Jalen did a pregame Run Screaming LETS GOOO And he had no limp full speed he ran, So I think he messed his knee up this game nothing huge though
The injury to hurts is obvious im sure it happened super early in the season you can see him slide early on runs or not run full go on designed QB runs not sure why they still have design runs if he's injured but oh well I'm not the coordinator 😂 offensive coordinator needs to do better there's been some terrible calls especially in the red zone
I think we undermine the importance of having the same coordinator for consecutive years. Hurts had that for the first time in his career last year. He spoke about how much that meant to his game. I do think him having a new coordinator has a lot to do with his woes this year.

I swear during the Miami's game during halftime me and my friend both said something is wrong with hurts, its pretty obvious, his mobility inside the pocket when its closing is off a little like he lost a step getting out of there, therefore causing him to make bad decisions on passes cause he cant pull those Houdini escapes like hes known for with quick turns and twists plus putting his body weight on that knee. We called it. Hope he gets back to 100% cause we need u hurts!!!
Am I the only one that feels like the "egregious" facemask was technically a penalty, but obviously incidental? Like Wilson made a move and Bradberry's hand was already out there, it just so happened that he hit his facemask. Again, it was a facemask because of the definition of the penalty, but I don't feel like Bradberry was trying to even get a hold on him, let alone grab his mask

Without a doubt that's what happened. That's probably 50% or more of personal fails in the modern game. But that's the whole thing. It's clearly not about enforcing the spirit of the rule. Like roughing the passer when someone's hand grazes a face mask or helmet. Its obviously not gonna do anything to Injure them. If they even know it happened. So why even bother? Well, because that's how everyone else is officiated and you shouldn't be special. The NFL clearly doesn't want Their officials to have to look at anything subjectively. They don't want them judging intent. They don't want them judging if something was "bad enough".

The Titans have a running back that would look awfully good with the Eagles. San Francisco got their stud running back. Agent Zero is very good but I think they should make a move to try and guarantee a Super Bowl. Having two running backs in the backfield would be a whole different look with incredible new abilities!
It should be Jalen Doomsday Carter, and man I was extremely hype when Nolan Smith got that sack I also agree that Nolan needs to get more playing time. Now on the other hand I’m starting to think that Jalen either doesn’t trust or like Brian Johnson’s play calling compared to last year. Like when I’m watching him now, he holds the ball a lil longer (which could be because he’s waiting for the routes to develop) and sometimes missing open guys which isn’t good. Because then those plays either turn into unnecessary sacks, turnovers, wasted downs or even drives. Whereas last year he’d see it, trust it and rip it with conviction to his play makers and at times he was throwing guys open which was part of what made him so dangerous. I’m just not seeing that same guy and I’m not saying all this to bash him at all. Cause I believe in him and there’s moments in these games where he shows you he can still be that guy but it just hasn’t been consistent like last year.
Great win. I think Jalen has been solid this year and has gotten unlucky with a few of his interceptions. That being said, he was phenomenal last year and the competition this year has been better in my opinion. My issue with his possibly knee injury is, why call designed QB runs? I mean he hasn't been great with them this year and if it's because his knee is not 100%, why keep calling them? It's like a wasted play. Third and goal from the 8 and you have AJ Brown, Goedert and Smitty....throw the ball! Clean some of that stuff up and keep running with Swift and Gainwell and I think we can dominate.
Absolutely. That offense has an embarrassment of riches at the skill positions, so the red zone struggles come down to the OC and the QB. Need plays to get the ball to the playmakers and let Hurts just distribute the ball

Looked like TE was in cover-2 responsibilities behind bradberry with Brown in deep middle coverage. either way that defense could use a veteran of Byard caliber. Now with Blankenship, Roby and Byard manning the middle of that defense the increase in sacks and interceptions will help give the offense short fields in which to score.
That TD was more on Bradberry to me. If you’re pressing someone, put hands on him. Don’t just bail out. Edmonds playing the inside but if Bradberry touches Tyreek up a bit, you give Edmonds time to get over there. Whatever though. We won.

Just remember, the crowd, including myself, got a few penalties on the dolphins. I know the dolphins got like 10, but how many were false starts? The place was pretty loud. Because most of the NFC games are blow outs, I have to say this was the loudest i've heard it in about 8 years.

Looked like TE was in cover-2 responsibilities behind bradberry with Brown in deep middle coverage. either way that defense could use a veteran of Byard caliber. Now with Blankenship, Roby and Byard manning the middle of that defense the increase in sacks and interceptions will help give the offense short fields in which to score.

Even though I think Philly has more “fair weather” fans than anywhere in the country, it’s not a stretch to say Hurts is looking like Wentz. He clearly is holding the ball too long and it’s leading to turnovers and bad decisions. I have faith though.
