Big problem with our D is definitely sean listening to what his players like. Sounds crazy but I’m sure he asks them what they like to do and what we see is what they are saying to him. They love that soft zone shit so they can see the field more for a better chance at picks my guess so he listens and lets them play their game but he gotta understand that may not be what’s best for this particular D. Brandon graham pretty much said this in his interview last week. Sean just needs to do what’s best and take some freedom from them if that’s what will make em better tbh

The communication isn't quite there yet and they are trying to limit the big plays as a result. Plus Bradberry is an off ball corner. You think he's getting burned now have him play up on some of these speedy receivers. I think once Byard gets more acclimated they will start taking more chances because now you have a capable vet backing them up.
That's definitely not the problem. All of our corners prefer and are best at press man coverage. The soft zone BS is 100% Desai and that retarded "bend don't break" mentality. He's so afraid of giving up big plays over the top that teams are just able to pick us apart on short quick passes. That kills us twice because it ensures that our D line has no time to get to the QB for sacks.

As a result they've been more conservative so that they don't have too many busted plays.

Gainwell gets way too much hate. If you watch the play one of the lineman missed a block meaning the defender was in the back field right as he got the snap, not many RBs can do much there, especially with another unblocked guy coming around the edge to go for the ball
