I thought I had scoured every video of Amira, anxiously awaiting new material, I was wrong. Your wonderful documentary allowed me to hear and experience even more and your timeline allowed me, in one setting, to witness the progression she is making as she gets older.
Simply put, Amira has awakened many to classical music.
She has filled a void that that people of all ages are hungry to hear. Her voice calms the spirit and soul.
Hours later, after hearing Amira sing, one still hears her.
Until Amira came, I thought Maria Callas had the purest voice.
I have listened to all the child classical singers, as they progressed, although their voices have been beautifully trained, their contorted faces while singing to get the sound just right, has now turned me away to view them while they sing.
They appear unnatural and strained as to where Amira still looks like an Angel singing for the world, pure and coming from the heart.
You simply cannot train that, it's natural beauty that comes from within.
Thank you again, this was wonderful to watch as I start my day.

Didn,t know the flower duet , O Mio Babino Caro ea are pop songs. I,m stunned that when a singer sings a Classical song ,the use of a microphone makes it a popsong. So when Pavarottie sang Nessun Dorma with a microphone ,the microphone made him a popsinger singing pop.
Why do i cry when i listen to Amira? I am not sad at all…..I am happy!
Amira has amazing control, tone, range, and quality. She had all this at nine years old and nothing is forced. Her voice keeps ringing in the ears long after the song is over. I have heard some voice coaches not very accepting of her talent at this age afraid that her voice will give out early. Some other opera amateur aficionados denigrate her for not having the experience of a Callas or Sissle so they do not consider her in the same class. But I just have to say that to be able to sing arias with the best of them without effort is a great achievement. I hope she sticks with classical music and POPera, I do not want her to become the fat lady that sings at the end of an opera. The opera elite do not deserve her.
This is what I imagine an angel must look like.
Not only for her voice but her unselfishness and her charity work...

Unfortunately, although I agree she is a woderful soprano singer, she still has to improve her pronunciation in foreign languages (namely italian and french). For a successful career she must take care of this aspect. I have noticed many flaws, as I speak italian, Spanish, portuguese and a good deal of french. For the time being, she has the excuse of being very Young. In the future she will face a more demanding audience. I wish Amira all the success.
@@vadinhopsc The Latin or Romance languages don't come easy for most Dutch. It took me 14 years to get a fair demand of Portuguese. Just give her a few more years and enjoy the ride.
@@waltermessines5181 Sure Walter. I agree with you. However, just as a comparison, the first time I heard Jackie Evancho singing, my jaw fell down the floor. It was O Mio Babbino Caro. She was ten. I asked my sister whether she was really from the USA, because she had some accent, true, but I understood word by word. When I heard Amira singing the same air, she skipped and ommited and changed the lyrics. Sure, she was just 9 and everything, but it gave me this bad impression at the same time being astonished by her voice. In other word, she has to do her homework. Some of her performances in South África are stunning. She has improved a lot in the sense I'm talking about. Great singer. Time will turn her into one of the best ever.
@@vadinhopsc I agree with you. I too have noticed her pronunciation of foreign languages needs work. Also I think if she worked on translating the words she would understand how to show more emotion that is fitting with the arias. Perhaps a Master Class with Joyce Di Donato would do the trick. Joyce is an amazing teacher!

There's only one young girl with a true angelic operatic voice, and that's Amira. She's the only one who uses the correct operatic technique (despite being self-taught). All the others sing from the back of their throats and you can see the difference if you watch their mouths and you can hear it if you listen to how they're singing. She also has a heart that match her voice. Amira is truly one of a kind! 👍🌹🌟🏆🥇💖

Amira, não sei se um sonho ou a mais pura realidade. Num dia de muita angústia de com toda imprensa noticiando as mortes na Itália e no mundo sobre o corona vírus. Hello and thank you from South Texas.This young woman has God given talent. Very seldom in a life time do we get to experience such an Angelic voice as Amira's. When I listen to her sing she brings tears and a sense of happiness to me that are hard to explain. What a miracle she truly is.

In my eyes, this doc should not be named "The making of a soprano" but The birth of a Soprano, Not because she is young but becouse she is born with this incredible beautiful voice! And grown up to be the same awsome person who cares more about others then her self. That's more than amazing! Amira you were an amazing kid and you are more than an amazing woman! I'm truely inspired by you and your brother, I love how he supports you and is always there for you. He's always on the background but with such a suppurp singer that's almost logical, but he is always there for you. I love your connection and wow, just wow.

Muy lindo documental de Amira,nunca había sido fan de un cantante,me gustaba la música y tenía como todo el mundo generos musicales,canciones,cantantes e incluso compositores que me gustaban pero realmente no era fan de nadie...hasta que escuché a Amira y de un día para el otro soy su fan incondicional,a veces me apena que haya comentarios negativos hacia ella y aunque entiendo que hay gente que tiene otros gustos musicales y otros cantantes preferidos no estoy de acuerdo en que a ella la descalifiquen criticandola injustamente,si a mí no me gusta tal o cuál cantante no voy a poner comentarios desagradables,solo no lo escucho y listo. Pero bueno somos muchos más los que escuchamos y queremos a Amira y eso es lo que vale!!!🎶🎵🎼👏👏👏❤

I named my daughter Amira because of this raw talent as her first cry reminded me of this Angelic voice and I had no option than to name her Amira. Hope she sings with you someday. She's 7 years old now and has a wonderful voice too

And you watch these clips of her singing with the best of the best all around the globe. To hear that she's self taught, no formal training and donated hours and hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars to not only her charity but others around the world. Amira is guite simply a living, breathing miracle from Heaven. I'm waiting with baited anticipation to catch her on her next tour anywhere in North America. 🌹💖 And I say that only because of my limited budget to travel other than America, Mexico or Canada.

What do you mean by over train? Training makes it even better and healthier.
@@estera4176 Perahps Elaine Highman means "over use" rather than over train. A singer as young as Amira is needs to be careful not to overdo it with too many performances or singing repetoire that is too mature for her right now. The vocal cords are very delicate and over use and singing too much can cause irreversible damage. The horror for any singer is developing polyps or nodes. Even a swollen vocal cord is dangerous and that happens to a lot of singers from training too much or performing too much. Even when practising, it's much better for a vocalist to sing in small time bits throughout the day rather than an hour straight. The vocal cords and larnyx need to be "worked out" like an athlete works out their muscles.

Ray - extraordinary summary of early career of this amazing artist who is not only a great soprano talent but also exemplar humanitarian! Another post makes petty comments about her humanitarian initiative. Sure, ten years old girl needs lawyers to write foundation papers, contributors with money and crew to physically build playgrounds. She keeps donating money to her Geluksinders but her charity is more than that; it is about inspiring others to follow her dream of building playgrounds. Some say they did not like opera until listening to Amira; well I did not care about playgrounds until Amira’s example made me to support her charity. Her Birthday wish for her Fans is for them to donate money to her charity.

I am so glad that this young lady was taken under the wings of the right people, just like Jackie Evancho. They are both growing into superstars with manners, integrity, and class.
Her gifts of playgrounds for children will bring happy memories for so many children and their friends and families, hopefully her charitable works will inspire others to similar endeavors.

Amira is ‘’an Authentic Big Talent’’. She has all it takes to be a Major Soprano within the next few years but it depends on how Life will treat her. My life experience at age 91 taught me that it is not always up to you to succeed, first and the most important is to be Healthy, has Proper Guidance in Advanced Social and Educational Matters then is the Career and Business Management that has to follow Successfully on every step. Lastly there are the Unpredictable Universal and Climate Change Events!!. I Wish that on Amira’s future Happen to Have ‘’Superbly Good Coincidences’’.
