Brookline is the most beautiful area in Massachusetts. All Kennedy families were born in Brookline Ma. I live in Jamaica plain Ma close to Mission hill almost 10 years and i love it ❤

I enjoyed your video about this wonderful area next to Boston.
I am the second generation on my father's side to grow up in Brookline - South Brookline - not far from Putterham Circle - mid -1940 - 1970 when I married a Californian man, a grad student at M.I.T. from Mission Hills, San Diego.
Greetings from Southern California! I'd rather be in Brookline, Massachusetts!!!

off topic but the white House at 8:06 (195 cabot street) was built by Cindy Stumpo (a female builder!) She lives in the house to the left of it, and the value is $18,500,000!

I've been enjoying all of these videos, as much for the views as for the loads of interesting and useful information. Something odd has just occurred to me, though, as you haven't mentioned counties. Many people here do not know what county they live in, because the only non-state level governmental function is city, town or village [excepting regional schools]. I was stunned, when living way out West in upstate New York, that there were County governments, county legislatures, etc. Only twice in my life, here in MA, have I seen a vehicle with Co. Sheriff on it. The reason I bring this up, is that you might want to make a video about New England's non-county counties. In Connecticut no county has any functionality. In MA I recently found out that one county has disappeared and two have been merged without anyone noticing. In MA they are mostly just used as court districts, or sometimes are responsible for managing waterways that flow through multiple towns.
Great views and commentary. Keep up the good work.

You could also try going for an apartment on the Brookline side of Brighton if you really want to live there. I used to live around Cleveland circle and apartments there can go for more affordable rates. You can get a one to two bedroom for like 1800-2100 if you look at the right time

Brookline is also the center of the Jewish cultural community with kosher restaurants, shops, a signature bookstore, and of course many Temples.

Thank you for the information. Please consider showing more of the locations and less of your close up. Cutting back and forth from places to your face then back to places is very disruptive. If we are looking to see how the neighborhood is like we need to see more of the neighborhood while still listening to voice over.

Brookline born & bred folks might object to being called a "neighborhood in Boston."
Brookline, like Cambridge of Harvard fame, is a distinct city. Not a part of Boston.

Oof--really pricey area. You might want to try Allston/Brighton, which isn't 'cheap' either, but it's a WHOLE lot cheaper than Brookline.
