We take the time in this episode to give back to the arcade community. My good friend Steve Ontiveros’ “Fireball Arcade” business is in jeopardy. He needs your help to keep the Arcade afloat until things re-open again. I have personally donated $100 to the Go Fund Me campaign. Paying it forward in the arcade community.

“Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the arcade will have to be closed indefinitely. With lack of revenue we still need to make rent, loan payments, insurance payments, and utilities payments, while waiting for this pandemic to subside. The idea of the arcade was to provide a safe space for kids to go in this small town and to experience what it was like to have a digital watering hole to go to in the 80s and 90s. It was meant to be an affordable family entertainment venue to share what we grew up with back in the day with our kids and grandkids of today. It was never an intention to gouge the customers like some overpriced establishments. We bought broken games and fixed them up to keep capital costs low and keep the games at 50 or 25 cents. The intent was to keep the arcade self sufficient while paying the bills without sticking it to the customers. So with that slim profit margin gone we are not able to keep afloat for long. If the estimates are correct we would need to be able to hold on for at least 6 months. But like everyone else this is our first pandemic so the situation remains fluid. So with the goal of 6 months to stay afloat I am putting together this GoFundMe page to try and gather support to keep the arcade afloat until such a time we can open our doors again. Any contributions are appreciated and I'll be doing my best to get any games that are broken or in need of maintenance fixed during this downtime. Here's hoping we all make it through this and looking forward to the day we can all meet at the arcade again and have fun. Thank you for supporting your local arcade!”

@@delsarcade as soon as I can get both my business is up and running again I will definitely donate more hopefully it's not too late. Keep me updated on their progress and keep me updated when you hear anything else from j-roc I definitely want that multi ZooQ and they pick up a elevator action that was redone but the graphics are kinda poor so I may redo it into a zookeeper

No worries. Yeah, I touched base with JROK recently on making me a Gottlieb PCB for my newly acquired Reactor. (Shhh!) But I have yet to hear back. He's one busy guy!
