What is the backing plate material used when welding the seams? Can't wait for more vids
I use Copper as a backing for the welds.
Question: Would heating the metal before straightening help to make it more malleable?
Yes, it definitely would make it more malleable, if the metal was any thicker, I probably would’ve heated it up before straightening.
