Yo imma keep it real I hate that they keep nerfing my characters and they took way too long with the quality of life stuff. Like they took WAY too long to stop people from disconnecting bro. That exact thing killed the game for me, I hated playing ranked because every match you almost win, they quit.
I fail to see any real criticism to this game, especially when its being compared to storm 4, storm 4 had a ton of broken shit that never got fix, leader switching was cheap and easy to absuse, tons of broken characters that never got broken, the game was mostly about dash and mash, most Justu were useless, most grabs we're useless, most tilts were useless, more than half the roster was not competitively viable, storm connections had flaws but the game has only been getting better with each update and its way better than storm 4 now, am not justifying the price especially at lunch, but I'll say it with confidence this game has a lot of good going for it, characters have more options,its more combo focus, subs have been nerfed, counters have actual risk to it etc

I don’t think Storm 4 was a mash fest and I also don’t think the jutsu were useless. I had videos up from Storm 4 but I deleted them. I played that game every single day during the pandemic for and up until early last year. I’m going to have to strongly disagree with you regarding the tilts. To me they were not useless at all, quite the opposite. They were a useful tool that you can use to catch your opponent off guard. Hokage Naruto’s tilt was one of my favorites, the last sasuke his almighty push was also super useful i’d use it while my opponent dashed to create space for more chakra gathering. Obito’s(mask man) tilt was super cool and fun to use and I’d use that to phase through opponents jutsu. Kurama mode Naruto tilt was useful get behind your opponent quick, six paths Naruto was fun to use. I think maybe you didn’t capitalize on the tilts because I’ve spoken to a lot of people and they really love and miss the tilts. Storm connection gives you a lot of overpowered assets which people pile on together to have the best chances of winning. Some people might like this which is fine but I personally prefer Storm 4 where you thought the tilts were useless but then you start using it online and see how amazing they can be. Like I said in the video I don’t think storm connections is a total waste; there’s so many good that came out of it that I personally love. The bad just outweighs it for me but I think they should build on the good and see what didn’t work for the next game.
@@cephasokoro9504 also counters actually have less risk in storm 4. You can counter as much as you’d like without any penalty. After countering you even get to attack your opponent. In Storm 4 when you counter, the opponent gets sent flying back so you can’t attack them and your chakra gets locked so you can’t fully charge it for a short while. At first I didn’t like this change but I think it works well with this game so I’m here for it now
@@fazexglo5954 I think in storm 4 they were 3 tiers of Tilts, useful (pain and nagato's universal pull,the last Naruto shadow clone, madara susano welcome etc) tilts that we're ok (the last sasuke almighty push,kcm2 teleport, guys teleport etc) and garbage useless tilts ,( most if not all taijutsu tilts like rock lee, adult rock lee, asuma, hidan) you can like this system all you want most characters had useless tilts, compared to storm connections that has more useful second jutsu
@@fazexglo5954 this is why second jutsu are better, 1 more damage, 2 can add to your combo, 3 cost chakra so it cost a resource, look at yugito form Strom 4 her tilt was so strong and it was free my friend was literally spamming that shit with pain and sage mode Naruto supports and it was fucked and it was free so he could camp forever, now it's a second jutsu and cost a resource he has to play the game now
Then let's talk grabs in storm 4 what was the point of a grab, it could be subbed, did little damage only a few characters could convert of it and you mostly couldn't add it in your combo, and even if you did what would be the point really

Anytime they nerf someone people online find someone else who’s broken to use it’s so annoying and the community has such followers. I remember when they figured out the shikamaru and temari pair was broken and spammed that down to the ground every match was it. A lot of community sucks but it all starts with the developers smh

It’s really kind of a slap ik connections is supposed to be a middle of the road game like generations but I wanted to support the series that gave me so many memories this let down has me pessimistic about sparkling zero 😭(sorry for yapping)

Kunai restand was broken, especially with supports, you could get resets back to back with no way to deal it with it, and it took no skill to do, they are many ways to reset people in this game, but people only use kunai restand, now people have to learn skillful, creative and fair way to reset

Secondly you’re right there were a lot of pain players who were annoying who abused the tilt and there was that mechanism they did where they would input a jutsu and switch and not lose chakra. Those were all annoying. My point is that they were not impossible to deal with if you played the game a lot. I used to play so much that I welcomed that gameplay and pain gameplay because it was a little challenge and fun to beat them. Although the tilt was annoying you could counter the tilt and that came in clutch playing against them. In this game there are no tilts they’re just jutsu so you can’t counter it. Another issue with this game too is that certain characters would have 2 overpowered jutsu which makes it hard to compete. In storm 4 there was only 1 jutsu so even if it was overpowered it’s just 1 you have to deal with. Your skill could over power most of the annoying things in storm 4. Like I said I played the game so much that I got to a level where I could compete with the pain/nagato and win with a canon team it’s mostly about skill at that point. In storm connections there’s so much wrong with it that it doesn’t matter how skilled you are certain combinations is almost impossible to beat.
@@cephasokoro9504 I’ll agree to disagree. I actually enjoyed kunai restands I found it cool. The only person that I found a problem with was with naruto from the last. He could restand you and hit you and there’s nothing you could do about it that was pretty annoying. I think an easy fix to this would be to allow some sort of frame movement after the reset from him so that you can counter or attack. And it doesn’t always not require skill. Certain character animations send the opponent far so you have to get creative with the restand. For example when I would use my anbu team I’d use kakashi, itachi, and Yamato. After the lightning blade from kakashi the opponent is put on the floor but the distance is out of jumping reach meaning if you kunai reset they’ll have enough time to dash, counter, or just move out the way. For this I usually kunai reset and use itachi fireball almost at the same time. It sound easy but it gets tricky because sometimes there’s a slight delay so it makes you jump too late or you’ll call itachi before the kunai and vice versa. Keep in mind you have a SUPER small window to do this because they get back up pretty quickly after the lightning blade. I personally liked it but I take your word for it given the community I know people found ways to just abuse it rapidly, probably even to me I’m just not remembering any from the top of my head

Everything cant be balance some justu are just better than other, that's why they have to increase the cool down of some supports
