Mariah W Ive been to two Lindsey concerts, last year and two nights ago. I have to wonder if her losing AGT was the best thing that could have happened to her. So many people that win those shows, just disappear after a few months. Lindsey is improving (the difference between last year and this was very noticeable) her show is getting more varied and exciting, and she herself is more graceful and talented than ever before. Would she have tried as hard had she won?

      - I heard she admitted how wrong she was in that, ... But she was right in that Lindsey needed "a group to work with".
      - Now look at her, with a group, that works with her, for her.
      - "Lindsey's independent style" gave her the freedom to perform the way she wanted to, rather than how others wanted to limit her performance.

These people are a Joke. They are Celebs who don't understand nor see the power of TRUE TALENTin music and dance. Lindsey took playing the Violin and dancing and put them together into a style that is definitely HER OWN. She has reinvented it and created something NEW and EXCITING and very ARTISTIC in a culture that has not advanced since so-called "professionals" took over and turned it SOLEY into a business sucking out all the gifted and leaving a dry repetitive mainstream theme. Lindsey Sterling has proven they are a brand, celebrity faces with no keen wisdom among themselves as well as a ears hat are anything but keen. They are a gimmick, they are fakes and frauds. They are not important. If you do something great than do it.

No wonder why two of those judges left. They had no idea what they were talking about. She is extremely successful and didn't need to listen to anything that they said. She was under a huge time constraint with having to learn new songs in a few weeks and do this while she was trying to step up her game to win the competition. I am glad that the show gave her the exposure that she needed but sometimes I feel like I could do such a better job then the judges. To be fair, they were right about the notes she missed. If you missed notes, then you missed notes, it is as simple as that.

She only passed the first round because of her unique gimmick as a dancing violinist. She had the right idea but needed to work on the gimmick. When she auditioned in front of the main judges she probably chose the wrong piece since she clearly couldn't play it and dance at the same time

I absolutely loved this small, tribute-like video. At first the Avatar soundtrack playing in the background was a little unsettling, why not use her own music, I thought. But after continuing to watch I realize that it plays very well together. Even though it wasn't exactly that, the score indicates that training and practice is going on. And that's what happened with Lindsey. She got the feedback she got, but instead of letting it crush her (though I hear she was very devastated right after. Then again, who wouldn't be?), she let it push her in the direction she took. She let it motivate her, drive her. And I think after she started to see her efforts bear fruit, that became her driving force. Absolutely amazing. All in all, this whole journey she's been on, that's a real inspirational story for all of us!

I love Lindsey. I went to her concert and it was amazing- She mentioned one of the judges saying that to her and then she said "But look where I am now." And the whole place cheered wildly. She is an inspiration.

Thanks for putting this together. It's an awesome compilation. I saw the performance where the AGT judges dismissed Lindsey's unique musician / dance combination. If you listen to the entire thing, Piers was just down right cruel with his so-called analysis. He reminded me of when Simon Cowell told Jennifer Hudson that she would never be anything better than a lounge singer on a cruise ship (one of her previous jobs). Hudson stuck to her goals & an Academy award win later the rest is history. Having played the violin as a kid before moving on to piano, cello & flute with a marching band, what Lindsey does is quite simply amazing. I think the people on here who still criticize her in an effort to justify the AGT judges comments, have no idea what it takes in musical talent, dance/coordination skill, and physical endurance to create Lindsey's performances. Glad to see her having so much success by sticking to her goals and pursuing her dreams. She's an inspiration to us all!

Americas Got Talent judges have no clue how to judge . I mean what talent do they have themselves . The wife of Ozzy Ozborne come on ! They are either jealous or the show is fixed ! But in the end the people of the world judge who is real ! Lindsey Stirling is multi talented ! The judges didn't get her act because its different , its new , its unconcervative ! She's a ballerina ,jazz and classical dancer ,master of the violin ! She brings life to the violin with a show I have never seen before ! Its new its hip , its too cool for AGT . The world has spoken when she got voted off the show she was heart broken and picked herself up , and got half a billion hits off RUclips . And now a world class super star with famed musicians asking her to co star in there videos ! It was not easy for her ,she made it what it is ! And hard working stars will say the same ! I have nothing but respect for her ! She has a wonderful heart as well and reaches out to those in need ! On top of that she only had good things to say about AGT ! As for as I'm concerned Mrs. Osborne and the other stuffy old coots who have no background in the performing arts ,and don't realize what century it is - they can go to hell ! I won't watch AGT anymore !!!

I think when they said, " you're not good enough", what they are really saying is she will never make it. B/c its unheard of a solo violinist would make it like a rockstar/band/pop music star. You might argue one of them said "for now" but she only said that so people won't hate her in a sense. You can compare it to a beauty contest where one contestant is ugly. The judges would say something like, "nice try, but your not good enough, for now." But everyone knows the judges are really saying your ugly and you will never make it. My point is she did PROVED them wrong b/c she never needed a singer/lead vocalist and she didn't NEED a group. The "group" they're referring to is a music band that supports a lead vocalist, but the group that she got supported her like a lead vocalist. Or in other words she didn't get a group to work with she got a group that work for her.

A lot of you have never played a violin, and it shows. I agree with the judges, they weren't wrong in the notes she missed. The fact is that she did mess up and was not a great performance. However, she just needed more experience. Perhaps it was the nerves that betrayed her and which caused her to do miss notes.
Having said that, I love how far she has come up and how much improvement she's made. A very unique and talented person.

to be fair, I don't think Pierce was wrong, he said she was talented but she needed to get better and more stable...which she did. I adooooore her, but her performance had hiccups (still better than most they put through). The bigger issue for me was the "what you do is not enough", like what she does will never be good enough because it's not special.

Hot take, she took what they said to heart, but did not despair. They saw the passion and drive, but they were not in sync with each other. Nerves, thrills, or inexperience, Regardless she is where she is because she kept going. She didn't "Prove them wrong,"
What she did was simply practice and improve and hone her skills into being the sensation she is today. She is a great artist that has made her own way, while understanding the contemporaries.

Why are people hating the judges. Simon once said that he loved being proved wrong. And her performance on agt was definitely not her best. She has come a long way and if the Lindsey Sterling today went back in time to this audition, she would win the whole show. A lot of amazing Talent show contestants are on the show their second time because they got rejected by the same judges the last time, the ones who are pressing the Golden Buzzer for them now.

These people from the "jury" actually make me laugh. Not because they've achieved success or sorta, means that they can dictate who can make it in anything one pursues in life. And Lindsey is the living proof of that. She persisted in achieving her dream and she did it! What can they say now? So, if you got a dream, go after it. And if you happen to fall, get up and keep trying, not with anger or madness, but with love and passion for what you do. You're an example of positive thinking and acting in life , Lindsey! Cheers!
