My neice loved you! She passed away 2 years ago, at age 11. But she began to play violin and you were her idol. She now dances and plays on the streets of gold.
@@jazznutz anyone who says things like this in the comments is an attention seeker, ignore it she could have a niece, but I doubt her niece is actually dead.
Nope, the judges were right, and lucky her they were. If she made the show her drive may not have engaged as it did from the loss. Had she won she'd have been in a difficult contract and likely placed in back ground to a singer instead of standing toe to toe. Likely would have been after contract before she got to release her own music and control her own performance. She is self made because of that loss. It's been her drive, creativity, ambition that's carried her.
I'll start this with the disclaimer that I am an old geezer, and married for 34 years and not just some fanboy. So here goes: From a musician's perspective, I think that Lindsey is one of the most engaging, innovative, and inspiring musicians i have ever seen. She doesn't just have a 'look at me, I'm so talented' vibe like so many modern 'musicians' have. Seeing Lindsey's work stirred me to examine my own musicianship and improve it on many levels. So yeah, I guess that I am a fanboy. or, well, in my case, a 'fan-geezer.'
Enjoyed watching your story. Especially having fun on the bus, so little room for so much talent. And the children. Sister Lindsey I have so much appreciation for you. You are setting a wonderful example for the youth. Not only in pursuing dreams, but doing it without compromising your values. We need more talented artists who embrace good values. In content, raiment, attitude, etc. You show that having fun and being playful doesn't have to be rude, crude or destructive. I love your music and your example. Keep ever faithful, on the narrow road with your sight on your continuing Mission. You are an inspiration and you give me hope that maybe there is hope for the up coming generations. I am 54. I have two girls left at home out of five, nine year old Eliana and eleven year Mayanna. They enjoy your work and are excited to learn violin. I cannot afford lessons and our schools are too small for orchestra. Their elder sister Margaret is returning home and I hope will at least teach them what she knows of the violin. She was able to take it in school one year. We have three violins, and I ache to hear them played. I will continue watching your journey. You are truly blessed. Not just with talent , but with grace, strength and firmness of mind. I hope you continue to remember that young eyes are following you as well.

Thank you for the documentary ! I thought that is what happened by was glad to hear from you ! Everybody gets knocked down in life ! Few are attacked on TV like you were ! Passion is something very powerful and you have found yours ! Very Inspiring ! Thank You
Lindsey, I am new to your style of music and I am utterly impressed. I am big fan of the violin and what you have done is amazing. I am a huge progressive and melodic metal fan who grew up on 80's metal and country music with the fiddle. I am also struck by the number of fans who are just as young as you when you first started playing that just love you and your music. You are an inspiration to this younger generation to play the violin, an instrument that can make you get up and dance, bang your head or make you shed a tear. Keep up the incredible music.
I think the one thing that is not mentioned here or by many others is the emotions in the playing. To me when I see acting or dancing or other art forms, there is a clear difference in my mind between those being "professional" at the art … talented and good and doing the job .. and those being "Emotional" in the art. They feel what they are playing or doing and truly experience it and that is shared back to those watching. And that is what happens with Lindsey as she dances and plays. To keep the two in synch and performing correctly she draws more on her emotions and feelings and that comes across in the music (at least to me). When I first heard "Take Flight" playing off of someone's ipod/iPhone it really pulled me in. I then listened to some more and loved the sounds. And then finally I saw vidoes of her music on RUclips and discovered the combination of dance and playing she does. But I could hear in the music that emotional link before even knowing she danced to the music as she played. I don't know, perhaps it's just me. But I believe she is at her best when she has that strong connection between heart and performance, between feeling and sound and movement. And I think that also attracts a lot of her fans .. even if they do not realize it.
Basically what the Osburne said was correct: she needed choreography, a proper music, a proper group. Leaving AGT at that stage was the best thing for her because, other ways, she would have become an AGT product instead of having her own personality.
She was told she was too different. And yet, being different is what makes her unique. I agree that leaving AGT at this moment in her career was good for her to become her own person, her own personality and artist. And look where she is now.
@@vgamer456 What's wrong with being too different? If we aren't different than the world would be a boring ass place Lindsey did take Sharon's advice & worked hard to perfect her craft & look where she is now.
