Part 6 has grown on me over time. The Thorn plotline is pretty silly to me but the atmosphere is great in that film. The autumn vibes and cold blue lighting are fantastic. And Michael honestly freaks me out in that movie. There are things to enjoy in it.
Gotta love the atmosphere of some of the sequels. They really bring the Halloween feel compared to the original. More decorations, oranges and pumpkins.
@@travzimmerman1340 This is one of the greatest films of all time, it's in the congressional library's film registry board. It's a list of films deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant" that are recommended for preservation by those holding the best elements for that film.. Around 890 films on that list, out of millions made. Every movie has something wrong, but calling Halloween a mess is LMAO!!
Anyone else want Jamie Lloyd to have alternate timeline movies the same way Laurie does? Also random but I'm a huge film score geek and the soundtrack version of the rooftop chase scene has a really cool variant of Laurie's Theme at th six minute mark that wasn't in the movie for whatever reason. I think it would've played after Rachel fell off and it would've been perfect.
This one was always just fun to watch. Great to watch yall and enjoy with you. I've been Smitten with Danielle Harris since then till now! Keep the great vids comin' 🎃
Hey, look, Michael is back!!! He totally survived getting obliterated in the hospital at the end of Halloween 2, just had a few burns. He's fine despite we ALL seeing him bw annihilated by that explosion. Loomis, too, just a little scratch, status quo restored
Love this one. It's good enough that if they cut out the ties to Halloween 1 and 2, it could have been it's one first in a series. I didn't get to see it at the theatre, but I rented it all the time from the video store until I finally was able to buy it.
I saw it when I first came out or shortly thereafter. I think it was in 1989 when I was 10 and I snuck into see an R rated film (like we used to in those days). There was an audible gasp at the last scene where the little girl comes down the stairs with the knife. It was very original and very shocking. Then I remember when the credits rolled people actually applauded. It was very well received and reviewed, except for Gene Siskel who always hated slasher films and honestly never understood them.
Halloween 4 is personally my favorite in the series. It’s my first Halloween film and I grew up with it. To me, Danielle Harris is just as much the face of Halloween as Jaime Lee is and it’s disheartening to know now how their first meeting went but that’s another matter.
I was super excited. I heard the commercial on the radio and I flipped out!!! I watched it opening weekend when I was 12 with my older cousin and her boyfriend.
Halloween 4 : The Return Of Michael Myers (1988) is a true blue ultimate classic in horror cinema. Dwight H. Little directed a classic that will be in our hearts forever. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍🏻
Omg. Can’t wait to hear your opinion on Kelly Meeker. Lol. She’s my favorite death in this movie. And for some reason I didn’t have notifications on for you guys and I MISSED a ton of great content. Time to catch up.
I remember the first time I saw Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers (1988) and when the twist ending was revealed and the ending credits came on I literally stare at it as I was in complete shock and silence as the twist was so heart-wrenching and dark as of today it still has the same effect on me. 😰😱
I love Halloween 4 : The Return Of Micheal Myers (1988). The story, performance's, music, images, astomphere, tension, direction, and cinematography was so suspenseful, frightening, haunting, mysterious, thrilling, intense, eerie, creepy, and spooky 😰😱 which absolutely and positivity works perfectly for the movie. It was such a nail-biting and intense thrill ride as it will keep you on the edge of your seat. 😰😱 It definitely and completely reintroduced and revitalized the franchise. It was clearly and certainly a improvement compare to Halloween lll : Season Of The Witch (1982) which is a horrible movie on so many levels. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It was decent. To this day the ending still gives me chills and goosebumps as it gives a insightful and articulate representation of how true evil wins 😰😱 and I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍🏻
The score is amazing!!! The opening titles and the end credits track is worth listening to... The garage escape... The 'still he kills' track is legendary.... Kevin Williamson listened to the H4 soundtrack while writing Scream
Wade was in the movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Kristy Swanson, Luke Perry, David Arquette, Hilary Swank, Paul Reubens, and Donald Sutherland and now I'm hoping you guys react to it. ♥
Halloween 4 : The Return Of Micheal Myers (1988) has one of the most greatest, iconic, and memorable twist endings in horror cinema as it gives a insightful and articulate representation of how true evil wins as I sit in complete shock and silence as I'm trying to comprehend what just happen.😰😱
Your brazilian fandom again: PLEASE, PLEASE, DONT GIV UP, the seventh one (H20) is PERFECT (could be the perfect end too), thats when JAMIE LEE RETURNS, and SHE IS STUNNING!!!! (love u both S2)
This is my favorite sequel... This was independently produced and they reached out to Don post studios for masks (yadda yadda.. The first two films were the same mask... A converted 1975 captain kirk Mask... The school house mask was a unconverted kirk mask that was accidently used(remember.. It was 100% independent and the crew was so tired they didn't notice the mask... Hell.. They even accidently filmed scenes with Donald Pleasence forgot to take his hat off they were so tired (they were racing the clock against the 1988 writers strike.
This may be the best sequel, even with that mask. Jamie's dad is thought to be Jimmy the EMS tech from part 2. He had no clue that was jamie in the drug store, he went in there to get a mask. He tilted his head as if to say "why are you screaming?" Then after watching her get helped up in the store, he got curious, and followed her home and waited until they left to look at the pics and realize she's jamie.
It would be Danielles fifth time back in the franchise. She did appear in both Rob Zombie Halloweens as Annie Bracket X Loved the reaction as always Pumpkins 🎃 Keep it Petty 😂❤
[Edited for clarity] About the ambulance crew... They weren't eaten by Myers. "Chewed up" means they were mauled, seriously messed up, probably limbs all over the place because of the accident.. And Myers tearing them apart. And if you think about it, Loomis was exaggerating about Myers eating dogs to get the sheriff to listen to him about how dangerous Myers is. Myers didn't eat the dog they found in his house. He just ate in the asylum And he could've gone into any house during that entire day because no one really locked their homes up. He had plenty of options. I think he didn't eat once Halloween hit because he was on demon time. No time for food when that happens. haha
The blonde mask has been said to have been accidentally used and not noticed until after filming the shot and with the amount of bad blood between some of the crew it wasn't reshot
1988 was a good year for horror 11/12 year old me. I saw Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and 4, Halloween 4, Child's Play, and Friday the 13th 7 I got see all these movie at the Hippodrome movie theater, back when movies was 2 dollars to enter and you got to stay there all day. Freddy was Uber popular and was highly anticipated by my friends, Jason was dropping in popularity but it was probably was the best theater experience, noes 3 and 4 was also a good time. It wasn't 2 much buzz for Halloween 4 because I was 2 young to see part 1,2, and 3 and I actually didn't really like Halloween 4 until I watched it a call years later on HBO, and Child's play was kinda boring and the worse theater experience.
@7:27 Michael Myers wound up with a restraining order on me. Two much ear sex put too much on his mind. (picture Peter Griffin) On a side note his ears were tight. #thatisall
In this the thorn trilogy timeline which includes 1,2,4,5,6 Jimmy the paramedic was Jamie's father. His name is Jimmy Lloyd. Lindsey Wallace and Tommy Doyle have a small cameo Lindsay was the girl driving Rachel and Jamie, and Tommy was the guy with Wade and Brady in the store. Ben Hollister the guy who the drunken posse accidentally shoot is Ben Tramers uncle per Halloween ends. How Michael learns how to drive is revealed so I won't spoil it.

I don't know if you guys will see this, but will you ever react to A Nightmare on Elm St franchise? The original with Robert Englund?
Halloween 4 is so damn underrated. One of my favorite Halloween movies out of the entire franchise. 4 and 6 are ahead of its time.
Part 6 has grown on me over time. The Thorn plotline is pretty silly to me but the atmosphere is great in that film. The autumn vibes and cold blue lighting are fantastic. And Michael honestly freaks me out in that movie. There are things to enjoy in it.
@@LiirThropp2687 agree. It has some parts that throws me off but overall it's a great Halloween film with some of the best kills ever.
Very underrated and it's also My favorite outta the whole Entire franchise
4 and 6 are two of my favorite sequels as well
I'm a fellow Halloween 6 lover. I used to prefer the Producer's Cut, but I love the Theatrical version more now.
Halloween 4 OPENS like it's actually Halloween which can't be said for all these films! Such a fun rewatch! Happy Halloween, y'all!
Halloween 1 is one of the best films all time, but this one had the best intro of any Halloween.
@punkem733
Halloween 1 is an absolute sloppy mess. I love it but there's a shit-ton wrong with it.
Gotta love the atmosphere of some of the sequels. They really bring the Halloween feel compared to the original. More decorations, oranges and pumpkins.

This movie deserves more love than it gets!!!! 🧡🎃
oh trust it deserves recognition😍 and always gets love it makes halloween, halloween.
Fairly Underrated movie.
Probably one of the last Halloween films that feels like it has true heart.

Halloween 4`s opening credit is my number 1 favorite opening in the Halloween franchise.
That ending! My jaw hit the floor when i first saw it. Easily one of the best in the franchise. The whole movie is one of the best in my opinion.
I love the cheesiness route that HALLOWEEN 4 & 5 took with these 2 films!
Oh yeah! Yall picked a good one to watch. One of my favorites
yes😍

This was an awesome movie.
I love your videos
fun fact, Danielle Harris, the girl who plays Jamie, is the voice of Debbie in the wild Thornberry’s.
Thank you so much for continuing on with watching these movies ❤
The Fall/Halloween vibes in this movie are IMMACULATE ❤ It's a really fantastic sequel.
I was confused when the kids said jamie's uncle was the boogyman until i remembered who the uncle is
Halloween 4 & 5 are my ablsolute favvss!!
but both of them are hated on so much 😔
People like 4. Nobody in their right mind likes 5.
okay lol??

I love the ending of this movie, it was shocking to see babygirl Jamie turn out to be just like her uncle. A family of killers. 🔪🔪🎃

Michael Myers is not human in this one
This is my favorite entry of the franchise
Danielle Harris has been a scream queen since 1988!

We need a direct sequel guys #Justice4Jamie
My fav one besides the first one in the franchise. Then it’s H20 ❤
My favorite is Halloween 5 can't wait for your reaction to it 😊
🎃'Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers' premiered in theaters on this date (October 21) in 1988.
11:31 "Michael's in to bondage"
WHY IS THAT SOMETHING I COULD HEAR TRIXIE AND KATYA WOULD SAY IN A HALLOWEEN FILM "WE LIKE TO WATCH" EPISODE?
😂😂😂😂
We have alot of the Michael Myers actors, Danielle Harris, Scout Taylor Compton here at Scarefest this weekend in Lexington Ky.
*a lot
@@travzimmerman1340 Thanks Professor!
“Halloween H2O” and “Halloween 5 -The Revenge of Michael Myers”
It would be Danielles fifth time back in the franchise. She did appear in both Rob Zombie Halloweens as Annie Bracket X
Loved the reaction as always Pumpkins 🎃
Keep it Petty 😂❤
She's looking pretty rough these days.
I still to this day wish they followed through on the ending and made Jamie the new Michael. Shes the original Corey Cunningham lol
I wish they'd do a tv show with Danielle Harris as lead i think she would be into it too as she always seems to be open to working on Halloween
People sleep on this one. It's one of my favorites
[Edited for clarity] About the ambulance crew...
They weren't eaten by Myers.
"Chewed up" means they were mauled, seriously messed up, probably limbs all over the place because of the accident.. And Myers tearing them apart.

I think he didn't eat once Halloween hit because he was on demon time. No time for food when that happens. haha
"16 people, maybe more"
13 and 2 dogs, Judith doesn't count because it was prior.
Loomis is so scary 😅
The blonde mask has been said to have been accidentally used and not noticed until after filming the shot and with the amount of bad blood between some of the crew it wasn't reshot
i was friends with Michael Pataki, he played Dr Hoffman. and ya he was, sadly in the closet, but one of us . sadly he has passed
Agreed on the ranking so far: 1, 4, 3, 2. The only big negative of this movie is the mask, everything else is great.
Have you both seen terrifer 3 yet?
Before Michael got the jumpsuit he was pulling a bag head Jason from Friday, part 2
I think Jamie's daddy was the paramedic from Halloween II Jimmy.

I love 2018 and Kills, but for me Ends is junk and I don't know what it has to do with the others in the story.
Fun fact: Rupaul is Jamie’s dad.
I was two years old 😂
1988...I WAS alive (I was 19)🎩
I prefer 5 to 4 hot take.
