Honestly I don't see anything about her skin routine that was all that expensive. Sure the microdermabrasion machine was $209. 00.... but you buy it ONCE. Then it's yours. The Tatcha you can get at Sephora for $25.00. Avocados I been getting for 59 cents. Burts Bee's baby wash, maybe $10..... Towels, a bowel or two for steam & rinsing water. There was one thing.... I'll find the cost.
Sonic has a incredible microdermabrasion with a built on steamer..it has worked incredible. There's is $99.00 also the light therapy works wonders (blue, green & red)
I'm sure she gets botox and fillers too but she looks beautiful 😍 what i love about Jada is she seems so humble even though she's a rich celeb Love her nails 💅
Well, she has a very resistant skin because let me tell you: all this steam and scrubs are not good, expecially if you have sensitive skin/rosacea, redness, eczema prone skin
I have eczema prone skin, as well, and I'm wondering if this is still okay every 2-3 months, as she recommends. I try not to get my water too hot, but I know it's necessary to open up the pores. That Neutrogena cleanser can be a little "eh" as far as irritation. Worth a shot, though, if it works.
@@alyssiakirkhart Please be careful with the temperature of your water. If it's too hot, it can damage your skin more than it will help. Steam does not "open the pores" because pores are unable to be opened/closed. If you want to clean out your pores make sure to use a gentle chemical exfoliant.
Words of Encouragement,God loves you and desires a close relationship with you he wants you to surrender your all to him he doesn't want you bound by religion or tradition but he wants you bound by his HOLY WORD
Love youu! I’m from baltimore too! Also , steam can be drying. Trans epidermal water loss is increased in the winter months. Anyone trying this at home should be mindful of how long the steam is on & be vigilant in reintroducing moisture to the skin afterwards !! 💖

Makeup DOES age you...2020 has taught me that....during quarantine,I decided to just do the basics of skincare and no makeup and my skin has never felt or looked better!
She has marks from the microdermabrasion machine because the suction was wayyyy too high. This can cause bruising or capillaries to bust. Be super careful. Her skin is amazing! 🥸 maybe a little nip and tuck or needles did the trick as well
Yep, she's also gliding across the skin way too slow...should be quicker and flicking off each stroke to avoid the suction which causes the basketweave marks.
Why do people assume or think something cant be natural? By nature our skin (black woman) doesn't wrinkle as much or as quickly. When you take good care of it, it can be avoided
that post facial glow at the end 🧖🏽♀️✨🪞 I love the precleanse 😍😍 you can use that 1st in double cleansing! You apply it to dry skin, massage face, and THEN activate it by adding water and massage face, and it turns milky white, and it’s begins to remove your dead skin cells! Rinse off then continue with your second cleanser. It’s great to remove makeup!!! She used it as a barrier for her microdermabrasion which makes sense bc she already cleansed a few times b4 and now she’s doing some intense exfoliation, and that works for her! (If u do at home microderm, remember to hold your skin TAUT btwn 2 fingers so you don’t cause any bruising on The face or neck.) + as an esti i do not recommend using the exfoliating towel on the face, esp near the eyes, they’re meant more for the body cause that’s thicker skin :/ maybe a steamed microfiber cloth works better? much softer on the skin. Dermalogica has ‘daily microfoilant’ and it’s an amazing daily exfoliator. it’s a rice based powder that turns into foam when you activate it 🌨 and it works great to get all over the face, especially the brows, eyelids, and the lips too! Your skin looks so bright and clean after using it! I loveeee it. Tatcha masks are the truthhh. Homemade masks are great too, keep them simple and only use them the day of! Bacteria will start to grow if you save them, bc there are no preservatives in homemade masks. Just a couple tips for those interested the products and her routine! Her skin is always on 10 🤩 a couple deep treatments a year, a consistent skincare routine & wearing spf daily will take you on the right path to reach your skincare goals! 🤍
@@greatgull6931 hi! if the bumps are not inflamed and are hard, they’re milia. you can get them extracted or take care of them yourself by keeping up a good routine. If you have a solid routine rn, try to add a serum in your *night routine* with a bit of retinol in it. the retinol resurfacing serum by cerave is works well with oily skin & it will help the skin work by itself to keep up cell turnover and reduce texture and brighten the skin, (you are very likely to purge, then the skin will clear once it has adapted). start off a couple of nights in the week, then increase frequency once you feel comfortable enough. Step process: cleanse, moisturize, retinol resurfacing serum, go to bed. and in the mornings when you wake up & thru out the day you must wear a your sunscreen! if you don’t it will reverse all the hard work you put into your skin. check out dr dray’s vid ‘cerave resurfacing retinol serum review’ if you want more details about it!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and information. Is there anything I can do or products you can recommend for hyperpigmentation? I cannot get rid of the dark spots and I’ve tried it all. I’ve done VIT C serums, peels, glycolic, sacylic, dermabradion as well etc etc etc and I cannot fade them or if they fade new breakouts causes more hyperpigmentation. I do use spf, skinceuticals. Pls anything you can share to help me I will appreciate.
@@Mush2389 hey melody! you can definitely get thru this. hyperpigmentation is a b. topical products may help you on the surface but it seems that they hyperpigmentation that you struggle with is rooted in your dermis. this means that it’ll be harder to treat, but it is possible to fade it and give you the results you’re looking for. I suggest you look for a DMK enzyme therapy they specialize in facials that treat various skin conditions, including stubborn hyperpigmentation, their insta has a lot of info and pics to show you before & afters. I also recommend the Faded gel serum by Topicals! it has active ingredients that will stop the melanin activating cells from communicating with melanocytes, further reducing the hyperpigmentation, while also maintaining your moisture barrier. hope this helps! You can check them both out of IG
Lol, honey this is the poor people version. I never clicked on a video so fast. A lot of the stuff she uses is not that expensive compare to other stars who use products that leave you broke.😂
As a esthetician in training this is the poor person version. I wouldn't recommend buy a microderm matching if it is not done right you can have bruising. All the products Jada use you can find at a store expect that expensive cream you have to get from a spa.
pores’ size don’t change really unless they’re ‘congested’. steam and hot or cold temperature can shock the skin. get a humidifier. a cleanser with salicylic acid removes dead skin, this seems gimmicky especially when this strong of a suction could cause redness and irritation. Rags can spread germs. baby soap probably has fragrance which isn’t good in general let alone around your eyes. yea that neutrogena mask is great. She overcleans her face way too much you don’t need all that to cleanse the skin most products we use already get rid of dead skin, washing your face while showering counts as exfoliation so don’t think you need to scrape your skin to clean it, it can only worsen things and mess up the skin barrier. Honey is a humectant and has anti fungal properties, avocado is fat but doesn’t seep into the skin but a product formulated and stabilized can do more for sure. You actually do not need to switch your routine, there’s studies made about this subject and they show that no your skin doesn’t get used to the products and their active ingredients, they don’t stop working after using them for awhile otherwise we wouldn’t be able to use other product with the same active ingredients and the same concentration. Tho it’s nice to switch it up to find new products that could work as well. face sheet aren’t the most useful cus they’re virtually a serum in a sheet so you’d need to use them for a few days before seeing real change and you can’t keep a sheet mask cus it doesn’t have preservative that can prevent bacterias. serum aren’t necessary either, they’re nice but you can skip them considering they’re usually in your moisturizer, vitamin c is hard to stabilize and can do more harm than good so skipping it could be better and just forget about powder form they’re a fad and marketing idea, they can cause hotspot of irritation if they’re not well mixed and probably won’t do much anyway. Face oil don’t penetrate the skin they slip off to seal moisture in something with Shea butter would be great (just something occlusive enough) but oil aren’t reliable enough and are sensitive to their surroundings. Even if it’s once every 2/3 months it seems to be a whole lot for one’s skin, treat your skin the way you’d treat a baby’s, be more gentle instead of harsh even if you have acne being rough can do more damage than good.
1. Yes pore size is actually genetic, but appearance can be minimized 2. Steam is actually good for the skin during treatments because it helps the sebum and dead skin to emulsify as well as opens up the pores to help with cleansing 3. Any BHA/AHA will do the job, depends on what type of acne one has, whether it be blackheads or active acne. Glycolic acid is also a good starter because it has the smallest molecular structure, meaning it will go deeper than salicylic. 4. Microdermabrasion is beneficial for the skin because it is a form of deeper manual exfoliation, it helps with fine lines, wrinkles, texture. Yes you can exfoliate in the shower but it has a tip with a certain level of grit that is more abrasive than exfoliating on your own, paired with the suction it goes deeper. although her technique is very questionable, she definitely caused erythema. 5. Rags can be washed or replaced, but I would say it could cause micro tears in the skin 7. All you need to look for is fragrance free, which I’m sure they have especially for babies considering fragrance is very common to have a reaction to 8. At the end of the video she even said this is her “reset”. This is not everyday, and this is actually what a facial entails. Double cleanse, microderm, mask, serum and moisturizer. Considering the erythema on her face, I would’ve skipped the neutrogena mask, it might be good but no need to cleanse anymore after a microderm. It can only be done sparingly as well, once every two weeks or so, there is no harm as long as the technique is perfect. 9. Yes!! You don’t need to switch your routine especially if it works for you and you have no problems or breakouts with it 10. Sheet masks are good for just when you want to pamper yourself really 11. Serums can target specific skincare concerns, not necessary like you said but definitely invest (I love skinceuticals) when it comes to vitamin c and you can get really good results! 12. Face oil such as rose hip can actually be beneficial, I myself have oily skin and it penetrates beautifully with no oily residue. I DO NOT recommend Shea butter for oily skin or combo as it could sit on top of the skin, trap the dead skin, and cause milia (white little bumps) Dry skin benefits from more occlusive products. 13. Microdermabrasion does not damage the skin unless it is done incorrectly like how she did it! It’s supposed to be faster sweeps, and flicking off the skin. There really is no harm because it is only working on the outermost layer. All these treatments aid in cell regeneration which creates more youthful looking skin, nothing wrong with that. All based on how your skin reacts to it as well. You should try a chemical peel 😏
Ive been a licensed esthetician and educator for 25 years. Im not going get all in depth as the others but both long lists have good info. Non of it is 100 percent correct but both bring up good points.

Siyabulela No I wash my face in the shower so tHe steam from that is enough.
the setup is really a mood. Those candles and warm lights in the back really makes you want to take good care of yourself.
i can watch Jada all day, she is such a character! She also got glowing skin.
Jada: "I have several kind of different routines [for skin] ... "
Us: "And we would like all of them please!!" 🙏🏽🥰
Saaaammmeeeeeeeee
So crazy, she described exactly how my skin is 😲 t zone oily, under eye normal and chin area dry!!! DEFINITELY following this routine👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hi
Honestly I don't see anything about her skin routine that was all that expensive. Sure the microdermabrasion machine was $209. 00.... but you buy it ONCE. Then it's yours. The Tatcha you can get at Sephora for $25.00. Avocados I been getting for 59 cents. Burts Bee's baby wash, maybe $10..... Towels, a bowel or two for steam & rinsing water. There was one thing.... I'll find the cost.
@Law in Africa Students’ Society at Columbia Law that’s what I wanna know too!
Sonic has a incredible microdermabrasion with a built on steamer..it has worked incredible. There's is $99.00 also the light therapy works wonders (blue, green & red)
Zo skin you forget and epic cream
Equals expensive.
@@Xxtorii91 I'm pretty sure that WAS the point 🤔
I'm sure she gets botox and fillers too but she looks beautiful 😍 what i love about Jada is she seems so humble even though she's a rich celeb
Love her nails 💅
Well, she has a very resistant skin because let me tell you: all this steam and scrubs are not good, expecially if you have sensitive skin/rosacea, redness, eczema prone skin
I have eczema prone skin, as well, and I'm wondering if this is still okay every 2-3 months, as she recommends. I try not to get my water too hot, but I know it's necessary to open up the pores. That Neutrogena cleanser can be a little "eh" as far as irritation. Worth a shot, though, if it works.
Yes! Watch Dr. Alexis Stephen's video review of this. She talks about exactly what you just said Jada has good skin cause it's genetic.
It may not be for everyone. But it worked wonders on my skin.
I have sensitive skin and hate those nail file dermabrasion machines.. I know alot of people love them though
@@alyssiakirkhart Please be careful with the temperature of your water. If it's too hot, it can damage your skin more than it will help. Steam does not "open the pores" because pores are unable to be opened/closed. If you want to clean out your pores make sure to use a gentle chemical exfoliant.

@@beluved-tee yes but steaming is good to all of it goes hand in hand .
@@beluved-tee your're welcome no problem.
Steaming does not “hydrate” your skin! It’s the same as a hot shower and can actually be quite drying
Maybe she is dry
THANK U
Exactly you should be carful with steam
Yes causes trans epidermal water loss
It's for opening pores. And it actually helps a lot. Don't over do it with the heat or do it all the time. Maybe 2 or 3 times a week.
a rare time I'm actually thinking a person looks way prettier without any makeup on at all OMGSH 😱😍🥰
Something about Jada, she just seems so cool.
Love youu! I’m from baltimore too!
Also , steam can be drying. Trans epidermal water loss is increased in the winter months. Anyone trying this at home should be mindful of how long the steam is on & be vigilant in reintroducing moisture to the skin afterwards !! 💖
Jada’s skin looks like a baby teen without any acne issues... that age when you look your flyest self!

@@yasminparuk3540 noooooo. It was an entanglement. They have an open relationship 🤭
She has marks from the microdermabrasion machine because the suction was wayyyy too high. This can cause bruising or capillaries to bust. Be super careful. Her skin is amazing! 🥸 maybe a little nip and tuck or needles did the trick as well
Probably... or maybe genetics. Have you seen her mom? Black ain’t cracking over there! 🤷🏾♀️
Yep, she's also gliding across the skin way too slow...should be quicker and flicking off each stroke to avoid the suction which causes the basketweave marks.
She doesn't have that nip and tuck face that a lot of ppl in Hollywood have. She looks natural and beautiful.
Why do people assume or think something cant be natural? By nature our skin (black woman) doesn't wrinkle as much or as quickly. When you take good care of it, it can be avoided
Her skin looks amazing!!!
Yeah her skin does look amazing but she does ALOT to keep her skin looking amazing .But its working for her.
Can we get an everyday skin care routine, Jada🙏🏾 this was so soothing to watch!
Hi.....
Let us all remember that this family has incredible genetics - that's the first step lol
Well of course, but a little help didn’t hurt.
Is it genetics or has she learned the importance of good skincare from her mother?
Hell yeah. Her mom looks 12 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Yesssss!!!!!
And lotsa money!
Hey Jada, I’m definitely interested in your other skincare routines! Thank you and much love!
Her skin is glass!!! Love it! She is gorgeous! I want that microdermabrasion machine!
that post facial glow at the end 🧖🏽♀️✨🪞
I love the precleanse 😍😍 you can use that 1st in double cleansing!
(If u do at home microderm, remember to hold your skin TAUT btwn 2 fingers so you don’t cause any bruising on The face or neck.)
+ as an esti i do not recommend using the exfoliating towel on the face, esp near the eyes, they’re meant more for the body cause that’s thicker skin :/ maybe a steamed microfiber cloth works better? much softer on the skin.
Her skin is always on 10 🤩
a couple deep treatments a year, a consistent skincare routine & wearing spf daily will take you on the right path to reach your skincare goals! 🤍
My dear I have kinda oily skin and has a tiny bumbs all around my face , please recommended a product you think can work best ? Thank you.
Jada can you do the "poor people" version please ....thank you! looking gorgeous
Lol, honey this is the poor people version. I never clicked on a video so fast. A lot of the stuff she uses is not that expensive compare to other stars who use products that leave you broke.😂
I’m cracking up imagining her doing this and actually calling it the “Poor people version” 🤣
@@MsNetouu truth!
As a esthetician in training this is the poor person version. I wouldn't recommend buy a microderm matching if it is not done right you can have bruising. All the products Jada use you can find at a store expect that expensive cream you have to get from a spa.
THIS WAS EVERYTHING! Self love through taking care of yourself is my favorite past time; please do more of this. Your skin looks heavenly!
pores’ size don’t change really unless they’re ‘congested’.
steam and hot or cold temperature can shock the skin.
get a humidifier.
a cleanser with salicylic acid removes dead skin, this seems gimmicky especially when this strong of a suction could cause redness and irritation.
Dang... you really outdid yourself
1. Yes pore size is actually genetic, but appearance can be minimized
2. Steam is actually good for the skin during treatments because it helps the sebum and dead skin to emulsify as well as opens up the pores to help with cleansing
5. Rags can be washed or replaced, but I would say it could cause micro tears in the skin
7. All you need to look for is fragrance free, which I’m sure they have especially for babies considering fragrance is very common to have a reaction to
9. Yes!! You don’t need to switch your routine especially if it works for you and you have no problems or breakouts with it
10. Sheet masks are good for just when you want to pamper yourself really
