King of Tone High Gain

The Analogman King of Tone is widely regarded as one of the best 'transparent' overdrives and perfect for when you love your core tone and just want a bit more gain. However, there are these wonderful little switches inside that let you change the gain structure of each side, so what if we set the high gain side to distortion and the low gain side to overdrive? Then crank the gain knobs... and stack them.

Thanks! I was surprised how good the King of Tone sounds on Distortion + Overdrive, always had used it with lower gain settings in the past.

Yeah, of course “high gain” is relative. Picked up a Sinvertek MGAT-1 recently and that has tons of gain.
