@ScottGillespie Summer months are usually best! More stores, gas stations & campgrounds will be open, and there will be more ppl on the road in case you bump into trouble and need help! But it is beautiful year round 👌
After driving the Alcan 100 times over 40 years, i have never once seen radar. No one is being targetted. Also the ww2 hanger in Watson lake is awesome. The village bakery in Haines Junction. Atlin Bc, 1 hr detour is where Alaskans escape too. Whitehorse, miles canyon, where the Yukon River is actually green. Kluane Park, monster mountains and beautiful lakes You may find there are smaller crowds, more wild camping, cheaper groceries and restaurants in the Canadian portion. Take your time. Cheers
I would strongly recommend that anyone making this trip get a passport. Showing up at an international border with only a driver's license and birth certificate may turn out to be a big disappointment.
@kyle381000 So true 👆 You aren't guaranteed entry with a birth certificate, so passport is always 1st priority, but the birth certificate has worked several times with people we know.
Heck yeah! 100% pulling this up if I'm ever driving it
I am sure you'll end up doing this drive at least a couple times in your life! Haha 🙌
#7 It's spelled "PROVINCE." Providence is entirely different.
Great post! My son and I drove the Alaska Highway in July! The roads were terrible but Alaska was so beautiful! ❤
@theresaanderson742 yesss and that last couple hours of road before you reach the AK border is the WORST 🥴 Somehow AK is always worth it though 👌
Another banger video. Wish i had it when I drove the road years ago. Drove past all the hotspots lol
Hahaha nooooo it can be such a long miserable drive without any stops 😂💀
Love all the tips!
Thank you and safe travels🙏😇
Thank you!! Happy summer travels to you too 😁🫶
Thanks for the video
Y’all are so cute! Great info and great editing!
Thank you!! Love the feedback 😁
Hey! Did I see y’all’s Ram Promaster in Yulee, Fl today? Saw one very similar to y’all’s. Love the videos and bundles of knowledge.
Dang! We're in AZ currently so it must have been a similar van build 🙌
@@LKseims Y’all must be inspiring all over. Safe travels!
When would the optimal time to drive it be? For example after the frost settles and before winter starts. July to September?

@@elli-x1c They take both USD and Canadian dollars:)
Always have cash in hand.
Hi L&k ❤❤❤
Minor point, Canada has 'provinces', not 'providences'.
