I am part of a biking association called NICA and I just want to tell you that you inspire thousands of kids to go out and ride every day. Before I saw your channel I was the type of kid who would sit inside all day reading, but when I found your vids, I was open to a whole new world. I learned my town bike shop has a MTB team and I have joined, and I have been introduced to a lot of new people and experiences. I just want to say thank you for changing my life

Hello Seth,
I've a small hack you might find interesting regarding bend disc rotor. The trick is finding the point that needs bending back so it runs true.
While the bike is on the stand I cover the disc in blue pool calk and the area that the calk is scrapped clean then needs attention.
Plus the chalk doesn't affect the pads in anyway 😀

hack VOD thing that I did a while back and works fantastically is get some “plastic canvas” found in your local supercenter for yarn art and stuff for $0.69 and cut a strip to fit your chainstay, taped down with electrical tape. i use it on every one of my bikes and none of my bikes has chipped paint or anything of the sort from chain damage.

I'm having the same issue i want to improve my bike and i don't know where to start. The 🤯
See if a local shop has a Shockwiz you can rent for the day. Thing really works. My suspension was pretty close already, but the tweaks it had me do made a noticeable difference.

Just use a tire pressure gauge on them more for solid less for sping
Theres plenty of suspension hacks on the internet just look it up

I don’t think I could ever get tired of watching your videos. Very entertaining! The perfect length of content with great editing. Some of these RUclips MTB vids are way too long and get boring.

Hi Seth. Could you or anyone please comment on the Trek Marlin 7? It's a budget matter. What could be a better entry level Hardtail MTB for almost $800 USD? Thank you.
Chain reaction cycles. A solid website full of well priced bikes
Fran Pe or buy a higher end bike used, for 800 you should be able to get a good hardtail second hand, buy sell on pinkbike is a good place to look. If you were to raise your budget a bit, to 1000-1200 then you could probably get a full suspension, depending on where you live and all of that. I got my old freeride bike from second hand from angel fire bike park for around $1100 and it was working really well untill I outgrew it.

I have a marlin 7 2019... It is a very good bike, can easily handle trails

Go full suspension cause hardtails are more vulnerable to big jumps and bumps
No how much money to you have to spend if it is under 1500 dollars go hardtail you will get more for your money
Depense on the money my tip for not alot of money buy used full sus bike and ask a bike nerd to help you
I recommend the Marin Hawk Hill 2. It’s a full squish but it’s playful and poppy like a hard tail.
if you like jumping get a dirt jumper or a bmx
