Weather for sure. I went 20 miles offshore in my 239 key west CC. Got to the spot, looked behind us and saw a huge storm brewing. We all looked at each other in disappointment, and agreed it was time to head home. Gas, bait, all the money we spent for that trip was wasted. Not a single pole was dropped. It was a crazy rough ride home. I'm in FL tampa area. We are a lot better about checking the weather now, and during the summer use XM for the radar mapping. Lesson learned.
Enjoy the videos boys we own at 48 viking outta charleston sc yall catch em up ! Yalls inlets alot more to naviatgte than ours at home ! Have a good charter season yall- SF Georgia May
Great video My first year out of OCMD 30 Grady white cc not as predictive as I would of liked! Lol. I can only get out every other week sea conditions where hard on me this year didn't get slot chances to get offshore. I'm still looking for a buddy boat to hook up with.Blue fin are in now I'm finding them just haven't hook up with yet just putting the time. Keep up great videos!
Great advice on mistakes not to make, my 1st wrong mistake I don't want to make is pick out the wrong boat, I want to be able to do inshore, sand bar hopping and offshore fishing with maybe a trip to the Bahamas, the boats I'm looking at are 1) Bluewater 23T, 2) Reef Runner 23ft, 3) Limitless 27ft and 4) Sportsman 252 open all of them with twin engines, what would be your best advice and suggestion???
As an avid fisherman. Trust your gut after you do the HW. If you hear “they were biting at ….” But you know the area you want to go to is good. Trust your self
AI is good for doing things like that but AI is a pain i* t** a** for something else causing grief broadcasting everything else out to everybody. Curves on a boat for cutting 0 waves and water the top curves all way down This keeps the water off you and out of the boat
