Can't figure out why none of these instructional videos don't show us how to use the factory tire inflator that comes with the vehicle? That would be a big help. Oh, and the alignment tool is in the vinyl tool holder.
Killer video man! Just ordered winter tyres as I look to spend my first snow filled season in years back in the PNW. My confidence level for changing out my wheels/tyres on the Q5 is through the roof! Thank you for this video.
Thank you for this illustrative video really was helpful. When I added the spare and drove, there was around 10 warning signs. The break disengaged and drive system fault etc in addition to disengagement of the four wheal drive. The car gone crazy! And the workshop dealer is closed for 3 days I don’t know if I can keep driving for short distances or not. Thank you very much 💐
Thanks so much for the video. The main trick is to inflate it to 50 psi. Otherwise you’d think something is wrong when only one side pops out first. You gotta wait until the other side pops out. Thank you again.
Great video but this didn’t help us at all. You didn’t use any of the tools that came w the audi. How do we use the tools and how do we torque it with those tools?
Excellent video. So I'm stuck on the side of a busy highway with a flat, that collapsible spare seems like a major pain in the ass. My 2016 Q3 came with a fully inflated spare, much better imho.
Thanks. Your video was very helpful. I’ve never changed the tire on my Q5 so this was very helpful. Also, didn’t know that was a sub woofer. 😮 Thanks Again
These are all things Audi should inform you about when you buy the car!! Not a fun thing to learn on the fly when you're on the side of a freeway in 105 degree heat.
Is it safe to use hex sacket to loosen or tighten the wheels bolts According to Audi manual book you might not reach tightening specifications required
Just tried to help a friend change her tire on this exact same car. But for the life of me I couldn't get the spare out of its compartment! It was like it was bolted down but there were no mounting points or anything I could see. Literally wouldn't budge at all. What did I miss to get that thing out of there??
They may be in case in the trunk. Check there first. Sometimes the dealers don't put them on or factory whatever. I have found a few cases over the years and the trunk. You will either have for regular lug nuts in the case or for locking lug nuts in the case. I hope this helps. If there's none there and you want some you can buy them at the part store. Thanks for watching.
I already inflated the spare tyre on the floor, but after I put the spare tire in my car I think need more air. Can I inflate the spare tyre a little bit more after that?
I knew how much gas I inflated the spare tyre(3.5KPA/50psi)at last. I didn't know how much gas I should inflate the day before yesterday(Wednesday, 10/3/2021,Beijing time) when my tyre of Q5 got a puncture. So I made it about 2.5KPA and it looked weird.
If you change someone's tire and you do not fill up the spare tire with the correct psi, you are liable for a lawsuit. Have you go on social media and tell people publicly that the PS? I level doesn't matter and something years later happens. They will find that look it up and use it to convict you.
I see your point don’t worry. But for example, I just used your video + 3 other videos just solely because your video was a lot of time waiting on the spare to fill up. Most square people don’t have a pressurized air pump either. That left me skipping around your video outside in the heat, under pressure watching something that doesn’t really apply to me. I agree the spare shouldn’t be flat or even low but even if it’s “low” You can make it to the shop and get it fixed. Make it to the gas station and put air in it. I think there’s more important details like how to double check the spare you put on is on the correct way.. that’s something you could spend 10 mins doing.. I appreciate you and the video you doing but just saying maybe the video could have been even 10 mins shorter with just saying simply “Make sure the spare is filled up the correct PSI. Otherwise this could be a hazard.” CUT. Go back to the wheel removal. instead we’re hearing you talk over the air pump and waiting with you. Just my 2 cents.
Thank you! You just saved the day for my flat! This girl changed her own flat!

Customers prefer we not use it because it devalues the vehicle. I have other videos showing.

Thanks! The Audi manual is pretty useless when it comes to how to work the spare tire, deflate and replace it -- very useful!
Thanks for watching.

Awesome! Glad I could help. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I wasn’t sure I could change a tire on my own, but this enabled me to do it and get home safely!!
So glad I could help. Thanks for watching.

I wanted to see a street emergency scenario-not someone changing a tire at home with convenience tools.
Make the video then.
Great video but this didn’t help us at all. You didn’t use any of the tools that came w the audi. How do we use the tools and how do we torque it with those tools?
My daughter has the same suv and was totally puzzled to what the subwoofer was and what the plug was for. Thanks 🙏

Thank you Sir. Helpful
Most welcome
Great video, feel confident to instruct my husband how to get the spare tire on .
Awesome. Thanks for watching.
Thank you, I found it very helpful and detailed.
Glad it was helpful!

Foot on brake to deactivate the E brake.
Parking brake:1
Mech: 0
😅😅😅
Great Video! Keep up the great work! 💪🏾
Thanks for the video. How did you have the tire sit properly before putting the wheel nuts on? at 13:15?
So, Audi Q5 don’t have wheel lock?
Yes it does.
Thank you so much - it really helped me today. You saved us😊
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for your Hard Work. Knowledgeable.
One thing- we did change the infotainment system to change tire mode prior to changing the tire- the instructions were in the manual
Yes very important. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.
The trick is using the supplied car jack much more fun
Lol right! Thanks for watching.
What brand is the tire inflator and is it available at Home Depot? Thanks
Milwaukee and yes Home Depot has it. Thanks for watching. Don't forget to subscribe.
Thanks so much, really helped me out!!!!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for a great video , take care bro 🤙
Thanks, you too!
Is it safe to use hex sacket to loosen or tighten the wheels bolts
According to Audi manual book you might not reach tightening specifications required
Yes you can use it, but yes, it is not the best for acquit torque. Re-tighten after 10 miles. Thanks for watching.
lol let me show you how to change the spare tire while using none of the tools that the car provides 😂
I know as stupid as you are it must have been impossible to figure out.
Thank you for this video. Very helpful and informative.
Thanks for watching.
Would’ve been nice if you had used to factory Jack.
Thanks for watching
Yea really video useless. Good if you have flat in your driveway at home. Cmon!
how high do you jack up the car... i was told 18" to allow for the tire to slide out comfortably and install the spare tire as well.
2" from the bottom of the tire is good enough. Thanks for watching
Ah thank you!!
Any time
Awesome. Beyond words. Thanks

Not sure maybe the rubber of the tire became almost glued to the floor? Not sure without being there. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video.
actually that is a real problem if the punctured tyre doesn't fit in the wheel well specially if the luggage area is full already
You’re darn right. I’m assuming that’s why a new Q5 comes with roof racks at no extra charge.
I’m interested there are no lock nuts. I have a 2020 Q5 and mine came without as well. Cost cutting? My 2012 A4 had them.

Yes
Yo this my dream car Audi Q3 and q7
What yr is ur Q5?
I can't remember I have so many. Jk it was a customer's. I think 21. Thanks for watching.
51 PSI is max pressure, you're going to explode that thing....ridiculous, use the pressure label that's inside the drivers door jamb.
Thank you
And thank you for watching.

Too much time spent dealing the spare. People just need the spare on sometimes. sometimes there no time to worry if it’s at the right PSI
If you change someone's tire and you do not fill up the spare tire with the correct psi, you are liable for a lawsuit. Have you go on social media and tell people publicly that the PS? @@roadsideguy5902once again appreciate your videos and advice here just my two cents
