Oh my goodness this comment 😭😭😭 thank you and also look at the supportive comment below too! You are so loved. I’m so grateful for you and pray you get through this❤️❤️❤️
Glory's hair? Stunning. Glory's videos? Make my day. ❤ She's the type of vlogger where you thumbs up before you watch it bc you know it will never disappoint.
Tip for the green onions.. put the roots in a glass of water and they will re-grow. We usually have green onions on hand all the time because I can just re-grow them
@glorybrooks Nooo I loved these meals! They looked so delicious! My meals never turn out pretty, so I always feel bad when I see people with picture perfect food on tiktok haha
Would love to see a “What we eat in a day” video! And I say don’t worry too much about the presentation of the food, I think it’s refreshing to see a “normal” plate, sometimes it gets tiring seeing all the super curated and stylized meals on social media. 😅
Fun fact about green onions, if you store them in a glass of water, use what you need, then return the bottoms with roots intact back to the water, they will sprout some more, giving you more bang for your buck! That's what I like to do. Plus, it keeps them fresh longer and prevents wilting.
I love your grocery hauls and meal/recipe videos. I don't mind seeing your meals prepared "as is" without any special plating. What is enjoyable is seeing a real person cook for her real family. It is very approachable. I've made a lot of your recipes because they are realistic , inexpensive and they taste good. I do miss seeing your the screenshot of your menu plan you used to also share during your hauls - would love to see you add that back. I always like seeing the whole plan written out - you gave me some great ideas.
It's impressive how efficiently you manage your food purchases by making use of the turkey for two meals. In my experience as a nanny, I've observed that children can consume a lot of food, and I understand that different cultural backgrounds can influence our perspectives on food quantity. I hope you have a wonderful day! 😊❤ Diane from Rhode Island ❤😊
These videos make me feel im on the run with a friend. lol thank you so much for these videos for introverts like me 🙌🏾🙌🏾 love from Trinidad and Tobago ❤🇹🇹
As a young adult, for some reason i get anxious when its time to checkout at grocery stores, yes the PRICE LOL, but also just thinking about how i will lug EVERYTHINg to the car and back home. For this reason I loveee your grocery videos
Fellow Aldi fan here! I'd love to see what you cook in a week. Aldi does have a limited selection compared to most grocery stores so sometimes I struggle to come up with ideas.
We tried the chocolate chip brioche bread and you are so right, that bread is delicious. We only toasted it butter and wow😋😋😋😋 Thank you for the recommendation
I just like hearing myself say, "I get that from Aldi too!" Lol You give us the commentary in my head while grocery shopping. Grocery shopping is like the hardest thing for me to do. I finally got an air fryer because I saw you do things with it every now and then.
Hi Glory! Love your ambition in wanting to cook for your family. I do recommend to try incorporating some more authentic Korean food (if possible/if there are Korean markets nearby), since i like to look back in childhood meals of simple Korean dishes. If you are interested, here are some suggestions!: -계란밥/ Egg butter rice (which can be found at American markets!) -콩나물 국/콩나물 밥 Bean Sprouts Soup/Rice -카레 curry and rice (but now i actually prefer it with spaghetti noodles, so good!) -미역국/ seaweed soup (super easy, please try making this for your kids bday soon! I recommend to introduce different textures to kids earlier so they get used to the texture even if they don’t like it at first) -짜장면/짜장밥 jjajangmyun or jjajangbap with egg -계란마리/ egg roll omelet (계란마리) -소고기무국/ beef radish soup (souper easy😂) -떡국/떡만두국/dduk guk/dduk mandoo guk (for new years is a must!!) And there’s way more but all i can think of for now, i just want to make this suggestion to introduce your kids to the Korean culture at an early age so they feel more comfortable/familiar with certain textures and flavors and can reminisce the traditional aspect of it! A lot of the dishes I mentioned are pretty easy to follow, i highly recommend searching the Korean names of each dish on RUclips and i like to watch shorts that help explain, but 백종원 does a great job explaining clearly on each step to cooking. Highly recommend and am hoping you try this and show us! It doesn’t have to be perfect, just wanna see more Korean tradition incorporated in your meals cus I believe you can do it! ❤ If anything, maybe call your mom for help or something during cooking in the vlogs :)
I forget how many things you can use Old Bay on. Im from Maryland but live in New Mexico and not everyone here knows about the beauty that is Old Bay seasoning.
Girl yesss it’s cute it’s great to watch and I wish my daughter ate as well as your boys I’d love to make what you make but she’s already to far gone into not liking anything 😢 not even the overnight oats which I love
thank you to all who have replied to my comment. This has made me feel so good about myself and I know I will def see me through this moment. All is seen and I am grateful for all y'all kind words of encouragement. love u all
I love Aldi's & the Dollar Tree! Do the crab cakes taste like real Maryland crab cakes or the fake stuff? I'm going to look for the orange chicken the next time I go there.
HELLO GLORY L❤VE the hair! Yes another ALDIS WALK THROUGH ❤❤❤ GLORY since Ir in Dollar tree have U tried 2 see if Ur boys like some of the snacks they have some healthy snacks as well!!!
Maybe if you put a popsicle stick on the opposite side and cut it down the middle in between the two popsicle stick so your boys can split one frozen fruit bar. 7:47
Aw thank you! I totally understand, it can be challenging with certain grocery store prices. We used to spend more too but also started simplifying our breakfast and lunch as you can see. Thank you ❤️❤️
Do u cook every single day? and I mean actually cook a home cooked meal, not warm up crab cakes/nuggets. I get overwhelmed shuffling work/school and cooking a full meal daily not to mention I dont get any help cuz I dont pay rent cuz I dont make a lot (hence why im in school) so after work/school my family just comes home and sits around while I cook FULL meals (protein, veggie, side like rice), serve and clean/dishes. I be so exhausted every day and cant keep up.

Thank you! I was looking back at my meals like 🙈🙈🙈 (not cute) hahaha but it’s also just real life so I appreciate that 😜

Where do you find your recipes?
I repeat a lot of recipes that I found on Pinterest weekly and then change it up every few weeks!
Glory, invest in a cooking class or watch a few youtube videos. It will help you with your cooking skills.
