It sounded better there, was a good show, especially since I had free tickets, saw Mammoth WVH the night before, Wolf killed it!

Saw them in Clarkston and they were awesome! Great to hear Sammy music, Van Halen music, Chickenfoot music, and even Helter Skelter tribute to Aerosmith’s retirement!

Sometimes the closeup shots are cool, but the sound is never all that good. In this shot back a bit you can actually hear Joe's version of EVH tone. Thanks.

Imagine yo7 get a phone call, “ hey buddy, wanna go on tour with us and play Ed’s parts ? We’re gonna play Summer Nights , so you might need a trans TREM to ya know, let those notes ring through and play it correctly ?” Naw, I got it …I’ll just do it without the trans TREM , which the song was specifically written on …..sounds kind of ego - ish when you put it like that….
That guitar intro was terrible not even close to the original. Satch phones it in waiting on the paycheck. Sammy struggling bearly staying in key.
Glad I kept my money.
I think Sammy sound great... for a senior. He was playing back in the early 70's.
I’m sure every true Van Halen fan is appreciative of people like you “keeping your money” 😂 we don’t want you there, stay home and miss probably the last and closet thing to a VH concert you’ll ever get to watch. They are in their 70s and are still rocking… you shouldn’t have such high expectations anyway we are not in the 80s.

It’s true, most people accept mediocrity. Rush was always phenomenal. There are countless of rock vocalists and legendary groups that are far more original and better sounding than this particular group of musicians and this collaboration and choice of songs in general, isn’t really that good.

Some songs were better than others but for a bunch of 70+ year olds continuing to rock the stage, it definitely didn’t sound like “shit”. Have some respect 😭 you can’t say “I really like Van Halen” and then say some shit like that 😂😂😂.
