Ngl my bf loves to go to portuguese restaurants with me because it breaks the ice and we always get special treatment. 😂 Swear to god we had every member come chit chat with us throughout the meal.
The fact I can’t speak the ‘language’ but can completely understand what they’re talking about is just showing how much I heard my aunties gossip about stuff :’))
@@vix_loves_worms but you could understand them right? 😂 you learn from your mom’s scolding and swearing ( a true Cantonese speaker must always use swear words
This is hilarious! I have always felt that you are a little bit distant when you speak in that 'proper' Australian accent, but your Malaysian/Cantonese accent (especially as an auntie's persona) makes you instantly relatable to us Asians watching your content. Your theatrical antics are also so, soo good
My Mexican aunt speaks Korean almost fluently, so when she went to a Korean restaurant and ordered in the language the waitress told her to call her “unnie” (older sister) and I just thought that was rlly cute
This is so accurate. I’m a non Asian Australian who can speak a bit of Mandarin (nowhere near fluent, but I can hold a basic conversation) and everytime I get yum Cha, the ladies always stop and chat with me on their way around with the trolley, because they know I can speak in their language- they always get so excited- and so do I honestly lol
I like it when she says "sek, sek, sek, sek!!” (eat, eat, eat, eat) when she's too excited. Reminds me of my neighbour who would force everyone to eat when she's in a good mood 😂😂😂❤❤❤
I can say that it is so true cuz when I was young, my mum worked at a bank and a restaurant’s boss was one of her friend and whenever me and my family go there, we always get extra free food/ snacks
I went to Japan in 2019 and learned a few phrases that stuck with me. After we got back we started going to Japanese restaurants very often. When our waiter brought us our drinks I said thank you very much in Japanese and she was appalled I knew it so well
100% accurate! 😂 As a young (black) guy 20+ years ago, I was learning/teaching Chinese kung fu and endeavored to learn Cantonese (in which we were being taught) so I could be a better student and teacher. I had a side hustle delivering Chinese food and when the guys learned I could speak Cantonese they literally bought the food out from the back (that they don’t sell to customers), made that for me and started asking if I wanted to date their sisters/cousins/nieces 😂 had it happen two or three times back then.
That pic on the phone kills me. Also I'm just going to pretend I didn't understand every word because I don't want this auntie reaching through the screen to introduce me to her daughter.
Love you. So intelligent and professional. Stay safe and healthy. Im a gentlemen and respectful so busy with music and college and work. Take care.❤❤❤❤
Bro switched personalities too quickly 💀
I KEEP ON SEEING YOU😭

Lucky it wasn't meet my son he make good husband. Lol
more like "MEET MY SON."
More like "I want you dead" to "wanna make my son a dad?" XD
You got a starter, a main course and a “dessert” too 😂
Omg 😂😂😂
