To celebrate the 20th anniversary of our third studio album, we're releasing 'Muse Absolution XX Anniversary'.
The new edition of the album features remastered audio, never-before-released live versions, demos and photos as well as a new, in-depth interview with the band describing the ups and downs of the recording process, as well as how the social environment they found themselves influenced the album’s themes.

and I *want it now*
it will sound exactly the same as the previous 2 remasters. OOS was a remix thats why it sounded different.
Absolutely can't wait to hear the remasters, especially Stockholm Syndrome. While I personally think it's their greatest song, I thought the sound quality was too compressed. So I look forward to a high quality version of my favorite song!
it's not going to sound that different. This isn't like the Origin XX Anniversary where they actually got the raw recordings open on a multitrack and re-mixed them. This will just be a tiny bit more polish. Missed opportunity imo.

XX origins of symmetry made me cry sm, it sounds so full and beautiful, I cannot wait to hear these remasters and the vocal/strings/piano only version of butterflies and hurricanes 🙏🙏
origin of symmetry was a remix, thats why some songs sounded different. this will only be a remaster.

can't wait, it worked so well for OoS and so glad you've continued putting the Japanese tracks in the right place!! I only wish you'd do a simple CD release alongside it, as I can't be the only fan who couldn't dream of spending 125 quid on the box
I ended up getting the OoS digitally, though Qobuz I think, so here's hoping that is at least an option for Absolution too
this will sound exactly like the 2015 high res remaster thats already on qobuz, because its a remaster. OoS had a remix, thats why it sounded different.

"Sing for Absolution" was the first Muse song I ever heard and right afterwards I heard "Hysteria". It was on New Years Eve 2004/2005 when I was visiting a friend in Berlin on a snowy night.
I was stunned. I was honestly speechless. I felt like I discovered music a second time. I am not kidding or exaggerating.
It was unlike any other emotional expression through music I ever experienced before.
This album accompanied me ever since and it's songs have been part of some of my lifes defining moments and fondest memories.
Hysteria was the soundtrack to my first ONS and the last song I heard to push me before I - successfully- took my acceptance test for Design-Uni.
OMG! I have goosebumps, it's so amazing. The most favourite album, can't wait to hear remastered!!!

I'm a 67yo who was last night in bed, listening to over 3 hours of muse with my noise cancelling headphones on and played air drums for all I was worth, God knows what it sounded like through the bedroom door to my grandson who was staying over. At my age you also have to take a lot of bladder brakes in bedtime muse concerts, spoils the moment everytime😊

Awesome! I'm kind of hyped for this considering how good the Origin of Symmetry anniversary remix turned out! This even has Fury, which is my absolute favorite Muse song ever! :D The only thing that's missing is having Eternally Missed added to this collection.
