    I teach to keep hands up but open and palms out which doesnt look aggressive to bystanders (witnesses). Also say things like "I dont want to fight" loud enough for the witnesses to hear.

    Mario Sperry teaches that when you are clinched in a streetfight, try to drive your opponent into a wall or a car or some other large immovable structure. That way he will not be able to sprawl back defensively if you attempt a double leg takedown. It is similar to what is shown here.

I once saw a video where there was one guy choking another on the ground and some girl possibly a girlfriend took off her stilettos heels and hit the guy on the head with the spiky heel. This shit will get you killed. This looks like some Detroit self defense moves. Gracie jitsu will let you stabbed and or shot on the street. Last thing you wanna do is wrap on with someone and fall on the ground to kiss and rub preciouses. Bas Rutten speaks about this in detail. All this body rubbing and magic locks and pulls only works when the other person plays by those rules. While you're trying to pull off some stances you'll be getting bit and your eyes gouged out. Bjj is great for mma and terrible for survival when there are no rules. The Gracie's had to have many moves made illegal in many instances because they couldn't win when the other guy isn't playing body rubs.

    • @longkesh1971
      @longkesh1971 9 месяцев назад +1

      I wish people would just test these moves. Go to a boxing gym and see if you can block a straight right with your open left hand to the bicep. Just test it. That's all I'm saying. Most of these moves won't stand up to testing it with someone who isn't cooperating as your training partner.

    Well, whatever. That looks odd and will get someone on their guard against you. You call it prayer move but it looks more like a villain gripping his hands in anticipation. The point is to get your guard up without showing you got your guard up. Scratch your head with one hand while gesturing with the other. It looks more natural and accomplishes the same thing. I feel like you guys have moved away from practical knowledge to the theoretical and some of this stuff will only create false confidence. Best advice is and will always be to look away from screens and be aware of your surroundings. See it coming and avoid it before it ever starts.
