I bought this radio after seeing it at OSH last year and have had it for 6 months. I was previously using a yaesu FTA-250L. The Verdict? Icom quality is not what it used to be. The buttons on the radio don't function when it gets cold. The face has a very low build quality, and it flexes when you manipulate buttons. It is easy to bump the frequency selector while moving around the cockpit. The accessories are low quality. the headset adapter failed after 10 uses. Customer service is slow, and unhelpful. I have been extremely disappointed by my icom experience and will absolutely never buy from them again. I am back to using my FTA-250L, and frankly am glad to be rid of the ICOM

My next buy will be the IC-A25N!
I am quite disappointed with the FTA-250L by Yaesu.

@@_evL_ Do not buy Yaesu for airband!
I have recently returned a FTA-250L because of it's poor selectivity and also too noisy RX.
