Really cute, and quick. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thank you. Now I know how to do it.
These look really good and easy. I am wanting to make my 7 year Grand Daughter a pair for Christmas. Just not sure how big to make them.
I love it! Just worked up a pair for my niece and they were perfect. Going to add a wooden button for embellishment. I would love to make them for myself but I have a much bigger calf so do you suggest adding rows or using a larger hook to increase the size? If adding rows can you help me with figuring out the number of stitches needed to make it come out evenly? I mean its 32 rows and that equals 32 stitches around the edges and it comes out perfectly with the shells for the scallop edge. So if I increase rows what number do I need to use to make it even would it be 5 stitches for the next set of sc, skip, shell, skip, sc? so if I do 37 rows would that work? or should it be 36 rows? Sorry that is where I have problems trying to enlarge patterns to fit. Would appreciate any help thanks
Susan Mills Hi...the edging needs done in a multiple of 4.... so if you want it larger you could do 36 rows or 40 rows and this will make the edging come out right, Thanks so much for watching!!

Perfect thank you so very much... having fun with the hook again and your tutorial was great! Happy New Year!
Great idea!!! I'm doing a pair for my friends birthday (we're senior citizens who still like to look jazzy ..... LOL) and I believe I'll try to find some buttons or as I said above weave some beads on the top row. I think the beads may take away from the lovely scalloped edge so buttons or bows it is.
I realize this is an older video but I'm making a pair now and was wondering if you had the measurements instead of row count. My tension is often off from most videos. Im using a larger hook to try and compensate but want to make sure my sizing is correct. (I have extra thick calves so i can't go off my own measurements lol)
Ow 8 yes ago , im making this today
so cute
nice crystal
So then if I had a smaller leg I could do 26 and do 26 sc around the edge. I'm not sure if I count the first row of my chain as a row though. Thank you it is a really well done video and I enjoy and learn a lot from you. Also how (or does it matter) do you tell which side is the RIGHT (correct) side to have on the outside of the leg? Then I'm having difficulty doing the stitching at the top the same as you. are you doing just the points on the outside? or the ones that go on the inside as well? I think I may have way to many rows even though I counted them as 26 because it doesn't look like yours. I just did the bumps on the outside. Does that make since? I just read a previous post that asked about the rows. If I'm understanding it correctly, It means to count each rib on each side and those are your rows? which WOULD mean I have like 52?? No wonder the 26 stitches at the top are making it draw in? yes? SORRY TO BE SUCH A PAIN
If I use a bulkier yarn should I decrese the amount of rows? And if so should it be even numbers? Loke 32 decresed to 30?
I followed her exactly but I used Thick an Quick yarn and they turned out super soft an comfy nice stretch and work well for me. I hope this helps you. I only used the 1 strand though not 2.
Hi there I love your tutorial Thanks so very much! I seemed to have lost count of my rows. I want to be sure I get the right count. can you help me figure out hoe to count the rows?? Do I just count the each rib???
Pamela Tomkinson the rib and the row between the rib
Do you have this pattern written out or on a pdf file?
