Im not sure i understood this right but is this roughly it?
Chain 11, single crochet across (10 stitches)
Turn, backloop single crochet across (10 stiches)
Turn, backloop single crochet across (10 stitches, repeat several times for cuff circumference)
Slip stitch through both ends of piece (10 stitches) to attach
    Turn to circular opening,
Single crochet around (number of rows made with the 10 stitches repeat) and slip stitch to end to complete row
Chain 1, single crochet, chain 1, skip stitch, single crochet until round is complete
Chain 1, single crochet into open chain 1 space, chain 1, single crochet into next open chain all the way around.
Do this 6-7? More times and then thread/hid end of yarn....
Alright i love this pattern so far any idea how much yarn you used/gauge? Im trying to use combinations of scrap yarn i have and wondering how to arrange colours.

Yep that's right! Sorry I'm not sure about gauge or the amount of yarn, it changes depending on the hook and yarn you're using and I unfortunately don't remember how much yarn I used. I would say no more then a ball of red heart super saver yarn which is Approx. 333m (364 yd) good luck!
