I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, a well done ZOE3 expanding on ZOE2 in as brilliant a way ZOE2 did on ZOE1? Fuck yes. On the other, I don't trust Konami to do that with the franchise, and we were lucky enough to have this series end with its mangum-opus (ZOE2) without any severely unresolved elements, and avoided getting caught in the bastardization franchises like Silent Hill, Castlevania and Metal Gear had to endure when Konami turned evil.
We gotta be honest to ourselves I really loved the story but when I played it again on the remastered version on ps4 I realized how repetitive the gameplay is which can be boring to some people. Also I could have sworn there was a split screen co-op for the story mode at least for ps2. I remember me and my brother beating Anubis together
Really pulled on my nostalgic heart strings with this one. I loved playing ZOE when I was a kid and this theme really stuck into my memory. Love this song, and this cover.
I'm sure others have already said the same, but your cover truly is amazing to listen to. The cello, in my opinion, is the perfect instrument for a cover of this song. There is something inherently inspirational yet tragic about the ZOE universe that the cello brings out. Humanity has finally reached the stars but are still fractured; technology has advanced to the point of almost magic but it's still being abused. Cheers for the short walk down memory lane, what a great 5 minutes this was.
I've never played that game, but I heard this song in another youtube video years ago, just yesterday I remembered that video and took me hours to find it and now I know the name of this song and I must say, it's fucking beautiful epic song and listening to your cover gives me chills.

After re-listening to the original I can honestly say I like your version better. The vocals of the original I find slightly cringe and work much better as instrumental melodies imo.
