- This is the Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner song Beyond the Bounds! Now I must mention before people get confused.. The lyrics used in this song (other than English) are entirely made up words and cannot be translated so please do not ask why I didn't translate it.. it's because they aren't real words lol.
To add to that, the non-English lyrics were influenced by the Finnish language but are not actually the language itself.

If you're familiar with Japanese anime, there's some singers that specialise in made up language. The one that i like the most, whose name is unheard by many but her works appear in some of the most renowned anime. Her name is Hitomi Kuroishi, who sang most of the songs in Code Geass, Last Exile, and Shangri-La. The imaginary language she used in her works are very consistent, which somehow became her signature if you listen to her songs enough.
I love the Chaos Language used in the Nier series. Their OSTs are out of this world and the use of a made-up language is perfect for their post-apocalyptic setting.
@@francis2410 I'm overjoyed someone has a fine taste as i do! Nier series' chaos language was not blindly made up but to depict how modern language drift over thousands of years, much like how we see Old English or Old French, they might carry meanings but we have no idea what it means.
@@711jastin A man of culture, I see...
And yeah, on the technical sense, it adds the effect of distracting us less from the story by not understanding the vocals, while still keeping the beauty of some of the best vocals ever recorded
It makes top-tier OSTs perfectly placed in top-tier games
does this mean that these songs are zheul?
Song: *starts*
Vocals: asdfg
Vocals: haAAAHh 🐓
The lyrics are RIGHT THERE. -_-
Just bootiful.
God this song is just....amazing. i really wish they continued with this series past second runner
there's the tactics game on the GBA. Not quite the same, but a good game still, IMO.
I agree, but as far as the continuation of Jehuty’s story is concerned, there’s no point.
The war with BAHRAM is over.
The threat posed by Aumaan, Anubis and Nohman is no more.
The false Anubis (the one that Ken was forced to pilot) is just that: a run-of-the-mill Orbital Frame made in the original Anubis’ image. It doesn’t have the ability to operate Aumaan as the original or Jehuty did.
This song = Cosmic greatness.
just to point out, this is one of the better Lyric video's I've seen. and I've seen a lot.
SoloWing88 Much thanks :)
I believe both of them are equally skilled when it comes to piloting Jehuty, heck, I think Leo has MORE potential since it is possible for Leo (you) dodge all of Nohman's attacks in the end of the first game before the one that was required to start the cutscene to escape happens. However, you have to take into account that Nohman has yet to get used to Anubis at that point... Regardless, Leo can still be a challenge since he is still a challenge with his Viper.
Emil Irving The power of Jehuty is equally matched to Anubis, the only factor is the skill of the pilot of Jehuty.
So we could've fucked Anubis up.
I wonder what would have happened if Leo had found Anubis instead of Jehuty?
@@omnimercurial5169 Wouldn't end well, remember that Anubis' AI is horrifically destructive.
Man, he wasn't too hard in the Viper. You get his patterns down and can just kick him to the floor.
Does anyone just know this moment when you remember a song from a game you heard for 5 seconds in some video you watched 3 years ago that you really liked, so you go on a wild goose chase at 2am to find out what that song is or is that just me?
I mean it's why i am here if anyone didn't guess. Good song will definitly buy the game.
Music is the universal language... you don´t need to understand every single word,,,because you know, deep inside, the meaning,,, that´s beautiful :D
Bullshit :P
@@xkai7546 go listen to nier automata OST and call it bullshit again 🤣 dont need to understand a single word of chaos language to understand its beauty and be swept up in all the emotions you attach to it
@@-pressxtostart- sorry i have a tendency to listen to words from song and if an entertainment product has good points but is bugged down by bad points i look for something more wholesome rather than depending on a broken shit to fulfill me.
@@-pressxtostart- i love nier's music more than i love the game itself, lol. i'm having a nostalgia fuel now
its finnish language
0:39 just hits my soul
It really does
Agreed. That, 1:09, 2:35, the "ilukaparsi" parts, and the melodious English lyrics ALWAYS make feel somewhat pumped up in a peaceful sort of way.

u r not alone man

@@yaboikingkai3475 solo violin part hit hard but i like the after that part
You know when i first heard this song it was to a FF AMV here on youtube. I had no idea it was from zone of the enders till i got the HD collection and then i was like OMG this is awesome. You have great taste in games and music. I love all the songs you have on your channel.

When you start summon jehuty in granblue fantasy
True 😂
I hate how I started playing gbf last year and I missed the event :(
I love Zone of the Enders.
Long shot, but maybe this is supposed to be a language spoken on Mars? Once people emigrated to Mars, which is Beyond the Bounds, in the Zone of the Enders if you read the glossary for the first game, they may have had a different language as well. Like I said, long shot. Awesome game.
I've been trying to learn the Lyrics to this song, for the longest time; the uh... sci fi language portions
Infinite thanks for video!
I speak primarily English here on Earth, but at the soul level, I understand exactly every word she sings.
One of the best VG themes, for sure.
That second Verse..🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Omg I thought she was singing the entire song with made up lyrics I had no idea there’s some that’s actually kinda beautiful.
Can't believe I love a song with made up lyrics .
Conflicting, eh?
Well, technically every song has made up lyrics. I think you mean language. Made up language!
I thought it was latin
I thought the language was Thai or whats that other asian language malaysia?
Wonder what would google translate say if its a real language something should pop up.
This song is on MGS Ground Zeros. So good.
and peace walker ;-D
PervertedThresh Raisouli And MGS4
Ragnell mgs4 is guns of patriots , fuckerrrrrrr
Damn, why my eyes are tearing up listening to this…
this song gets me dem feels
What's "the blue bird flys away" referring to... Jehuty?
I always assumed the blue bird was happiness, since that's a common meaning for blue bird, but it could be something entirely different, who knows :)
Aaron Lee The end of the Datsun 510's production.
Aaron Lee It refers to Kojima leaving Konami.
Hah nice
+Aaron Lee The Blue Bird is a Japanese mystical creature, like the nine tailed fox.
the lyrics are so amazing reading them like that make them more wonderful thank you =D
best song ever with strong meaningful flying messages XD
I wonder if this is supposed to be a Martian Language as the game does take place mostly on Mars with a protagonist whom is Martian.
It really is a shame that the voice acting in the 2nd runner was horrible. Still one of my all time favorite games.
Could have been worse it could have been megaman x4
at least you don't have to listen to fucking whinny LEO again all damn game
mafiamamemonIII
I think you mean Mega Man X7.
That is also true
I will admit, not their best work but hey, translation wasn't as easy as it is today
Best video game song for the best game ever made
The English words are randomly, casual, or not?
sorry for english
Such and amazingly epic and powerful theme song!!!
Z.O.E. 2nd Runner it's a masterpiece!
Nohman have dislike the video...
Nice video btw! :)
@WonderKingJehuty Thanks so much! I actually made it myself XD I really hope ZOE3 comes out, it would be epic.
Yea this song was love
I love songs that use words that sound almost coherent but aren't. You get a lot of those in Armored Core.
Well, now I know why I couldn't understand most of the words now XD
I have no idea what Zone of the Enders is, I found this song while fucking around with the I-thingy in MGS4!
Adam Higgs Our saviour and master?
***** Yeah our Máster Kojima.
Dude, same! I always wondered what this song was from, then my curiosity led to me picking up the ZOE HD collection. I was like “I never heard of these games. But I am a fan of Kojima’s work, I’m an anime fan and love mechs, I LOVE the Ace Combat games, so why not?” Now I just need to get this game on the PS4 since it’s been re-released as of this comment. :)
Huh, I never knew this song's lyrics were actually not any real words.
Amazing song
Makes me remember the battle against Anubis, it's so god dammed hard.
Miles Teg Well what did you expect they spent the whole game telling you how it out classed every other Orbital Frame in existence and you had to go through so much in order to be able to get on a level playing field with it. Now with that said the fight never felt cheap or unfair for me it felt like a genuine test of skill all in all awesome fight.
Tbh I always spend about one or two hours to get it to change phases if I am on a vanilla run.
Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner nice song i love it
MAMA SE MAMA SA, MAMA KU SA
MAMA SE MAMA SA, MAMA KU SA
....no. just NO. XD
Catchy!
@khirikazu Well, the official site says that in the original 'Beyond the Bounds' (the Z.O.E. 2 version is a remix) The non-english lyrics were influenced by the Finnish language, composed by Kirioka Maki-san, and performed by Kimura Maki-san.
The best song I've heard in my life... o one of the best.
GO ZOE3¡¡¡¡
Playing on Photoshop for a few hours XD haha
if MGR Revengence does well, i could see Konami and Platnumn teaming up again for ZOE3, they could pull it off too, since, this is essentially a fighting game like Bayonetta
Great game, I wish they had make a third one.
asgardharmony yes!!!! Much needed
They are but it is currently on hold
Awesome!
Can't wait for Zone of the Enders Mars
In another era or another world or an alternate timeline (or a mixture of all three) perhaps exists the translation to made up words in a language presently unknown.
HOW DID YOU MAKE THE WALLPAPER? I MUST KNOW!
@Aurainmaker Why thank you! XD Always good to know I have decent taste in games, I'm sure you do to ^_~
Awesome! ^_^
i love itttt
Someone who knows estonian can someone try checking if the song actually uses estonian for the non English parts? Saw someone throw that. And if it does maybe offer a translation to english?
ZOE music Creator:Screw it,I can't think of any good lyrics, just throw random sht in it whatsoever.
I think the point was to make the music sound more alien, so in that sense those are the perfect lyrics for the song.
Awesome song, I love it! The thing is that whenever my friends hear me singing the Japanese parts of the song, they think I am insane!
Keep singing it loud and proud!
*YAH DAT ZEHUTY*
man this is just so random but i still like it XD
I really hope this plays during the fight with the new Metal Gear in Phantom Pain. It'd be just perfect.
Lapis Radzuli that would have been great
Sahelanthropus is not worthy of such a glorious song (fragile bastard)
at 2:15, "just in the break of dawn"
it should be that, i remembered i saw the official lyrics several years ago, but after search on internet now, seems i'm the wrong person???
I just noticed that there are some finnish words with little modifications on them and added letters but still not making sense. AND I know that they aint supposed to be making any.
I thought the lyrics were in Egyptian since all the mythos of the game revolver around Egypt
when does this play?
But, without those modifications, what do those words mean?
the babble that you hear, isn't that the song where you fight anubis but backwards?
influenced by Finnish u say? Imma finn and I cant spell those words cuz its so gibberish. there is one finnish word in the lyrics though : D
Aumaan Anubis would be hard to beat
That isn't Japanese. It says in the description it's made up but based on Finnish. On top of that, no Japanese words are spelled like that in romaji, as no characters exist for those sounds.
Made up language as lyrics? Did Susumu Hirasawa compose this?
Caleb Rogers Also yoko kanno does this
Yuki Kajiura too. Outside Japan too there's Lisa Gerrard and Liz Fraser
Main Theme "Beyond the Bounds"
Lyrics Scott Dolph, Sanae Shintani (Sana)
Music Maki Kirioka
Arrangement Daisaku Kume
Vocal Maki Kirioka
Maki was part of MGS team at KCE japan in Yebisu (Garden Place), Tokyo, before she left Konami. She left before KCE japan moved to Roppongi Hills (Midtown) in 2004 and changed name to Konami Digital Entertainment. Kojima Productions was also established.
Who is the singer?
So if the non-English are influenced by Finnish, but aren't the language itself, does that mean that they can't be translated?
Yep. It's something called vocalese, which is simply words that are sung which have no actual meaning, and are there generally for rhythmic purposes.
yes, no one know what is the word mean. so no one can translate it.
SigmentKurosai It was written by Koji Pros english localizer Scott Dolph and it has no meaning. He just wrote it phonetically to sound cool. Thats it. Its pretty cool though.
epickkkkkkkkkkkkk yeah comment of a 3y old :P still this one is just too amazing ^^
what language is this?
What is language of this song?
It's gibberish, the only real words here are the English lines. Though I've read the made up lyrics are based on Finnish, I can't confirm that though.
at 1.38 - 1.40 the word "tumirpar" sounds like minibar
at 1:51, it should be "erase the memories"
Nothing important really : / There are only couple of words that I notice and they are so random that they dont have any meaning.
3:45 TORILLAA!
Guys, the lyrics of the songs, are Finnish. :D
Johnathan Wee The lyrics are based on Finnish, but thry aren't the language per se.
Dont know why but i have smt feel
What lenguange this is ???
Yokko kanno uses made up language in a lot of her music
When she sings hxgkxglclh I felt that
It reminds me of Transformers Cybertron.
One question i have always had is....
Does Jehuty have the booty?
yeah
he got the booty
Well she definitely has the D, at least.
i like saying jehuty while breathing in. it sounds funny. try it for yourself :3
I found Z.O.E. 2 to be easier than Z.O.E.1. What about the rest of you?
zoe 3 trailer 2024
The game is easy to beat wish they had difficulty because when I play my games I put them on the hardest difficulty
The made-up lyrics mean something. It's about Egyptian Myth.
So the lyrics of this song are literally Martian gibberish.
Anyone still listening to this in 2024?
I just picked the special edition of this game up for $10! Haha, SCORE!
that language is finnish from Finland
Well it's not 100% made up.They did use Finnish as a source material so I guess if you were fluent in the language there's a chance you could make sense out of it.
English parts at 1:43 2:53 4:19
Pake bahasa apa sih ini ???
NICE song but impossible to song it
MIASOKOLOV
it's ancient germanic language ++
"Non-English parts of the lyrics of "Beyond the Bounds" were influenced by the Finnish language.[36]"
No way. Nothing sounds even remotely finnic. Besides the word "pasila" which isnt that finnic of a word either hahaha. Cool song tho
