@@OfficialLifeWithRecklezz man , I just started down this rabbit Hole 🕳️ . He is so talented and defies attempts to put him into a genre or category. Rap , singing , guitar , stage presence, live playing on the street and putting on shows the likes of we just don’t get to witness very often . Storytelling . Everything. Ren is incredible.
Why do we watch reactions of it so much? Is it see if others break at the same point that we do? I believe it because our tears are an unwritten hug across distance, sympathy is feeling bad for someone, empathy is sharing that feeling and seeing someone cry where when and how we did means more to us than we can ever know.
Mate this song made me tear too. He connected into the human condition so much. We all have that inner critical voice and we contend with it like a dance as Ren said. Your tears just mean you’re human 😊
This is the kind of artistry that gives "broken" people hope. Ren, through this performance piece, has become to a lot of people exactly what he stated in the song, "...the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope". So powerful, so impactful. The song structure itself is incredible. It starts off as a battle between his positive (Angel) and negative (Demon) aspects, the negative then makes an overpowering last ditch effort to reign supreme, tearing free and trying to take control, but ultimately fails as the final act, being the "God" aspect, emerges Triumphant, though still acknowledging and accepting that it will ALWAYS be a battle because we are all "a coin with 2 different sides". It's a beautifully cathartic and raw musical masterpiece. Ren is truly special. Welcome to the Ren rabbit-hole, it's a trip worth taking. This was the 4th take he did and yes, it was done live. Wait until you hear some of his other stuff, especially his storytelling ("The Tale of Jenny & Screech"). You haven't even touched the breadth of this young man's talent yet. The pig character (imo) represents the doctors and therapist who have essentially butchered him for years through their misdiagnosis. It's the system that focuses on peddling more pills than on genuinely trying to help to fix broken/ill people, caring more about profit than individual health. The bastardization of the hippocratic oath. He literally thought he was going insane because he was told repeatedly that the pain and symptoms he was experiencing were all in his head (psychosomatic). He had reached a point where he literally resigned himself to dying before he reached 30. Turns out he had Lyme's disease the whole time and it ran rampant through his system for 10 years, even to the point of causing brain damage. Ironically, if Ren hadn't gone through what he has, would he have ever made the art he has? There's no question that his suffering has shaped his music and now he's finally getting the recognition he undoubtedly deserves. I've said it before, I'll say it again, Ren is special.
My dude, I stumbled upon your reaction and I have a lot of sympathy for you. I, myself, have dealt with and learned to manage anxiety, mostly health anxiety. Ren is right, its part of you, and you really have to learn to dance with yourself, imperfection and flaws included. I’ve managed to grab a hold on my life and significantly reduce the amount of anxiety attacks I experience, almost to a point where I don’t have them anymore. I don’t know you, you don’t know me… but if you wanna talk about it, I’d be more than happy to shoot the shit. Share my experience, etc. I guess that’s the beauty of Hi Ren, it gets people talking about mental health and it connects people. Reach out anytime, good luck bro. ❤
This is such a beautiful creative piece of performance art, I’ve watched about a thousand reactions to it too. It’s such a deeply meaningful song that just about everyone can relate to in some very personal way. He’s gifted beyond belief and a lot of it was born of pain and hardship. You got lots more of Ren to discover and connect with. From mental illness to physical illness, he’s battled it all. Still working towards wellness today. He writes, composes, even produces his own beats on most of what he does except his retakes (Bittersweet Symphony, Losing it and a couple other songs borrowed that he rapped over) complete with his own beat boxing on some tracks, and he directs his own videos, shoots them with his trusty talented, cameraman and friend Sam. Glad you’re working on yourself, remember these few bits of advice: no one can love you more or better than you should love yourself. Offer yourself the same grace and kindness that you offer to others, your no less worthy. And don’t give up, you got babies depending on you for a lead to follow. Be the man your children need and deserve. You got this. Not saying its easy but it is achievable, as long as you take it one second at a time. You getting yourself right will be the example your children will follow. They too will place value on themselves and their own physical and mental well-being, self-care is a priceless lesson in and act of LOVE. What you’re doing for yourself, you’re really doing for them. Good luck my friends, good to see you both back ♥️

So nice to watch this amazing performance and experience y’all’s heartfelt reaction. 13:56 - indeed we all are human. Please do you and us a favor and enjoy more Ren! 🤘🏼🎧🤟🏼
Ren is amazing and incredibly versatile. His band The Big Push “I Shot the Sheriff/ Road to Zion/Hip Hop” (please do this version and not just “I I Shot the Sheriff”…it’s so much better). Also Ren can rap rap….”Illest of Our Time”, “The Hunger”, “Power” and his song featuring Chincilla “Chaulk Outlines” live version (might need tissues on this one but worth it) Ren is battling lime disease…he went through a huge struggle for years because they misdiagnosed him for a decade. Much more to his story though. Salute from northeast 🏎Indy😁 🙂🙏💜✌️
To hear his singing... Chaulk Outlines and How to be me! They're duos with Chinchilla! Don't miss her new video that was released yesterday called "Little Girl Gone"... your Lady Will dig it for Sure!!! She's the definition of Bad Bitxh!!!
Young man, idk what you're going through in life, but I remember you from another reaction video over a year ago. I see growth. Keep pushing man, you got this.
This guy is the real deal, probably the most talented all around musician i ever heard..literally. he does these live to. He raps and sings to,huge catalog. Has the best fanbase on youtube, nothing but love
Ren is an artist that will make you have more insight in your life. And ren has struggles in his life. He has been in life support and a lot more. But i feel you for opening up at the end about how you do certain things in your life. To help you.
Welcome to the Renaverse it's a beautiful deep fun musical place been here for months. Dominos is a favourite ❤️ Ren speaks the truth and is a wonderful Human being enjoy ✌️❤️🏴
@ren sad you weren't recognized sooner when you were signed on,,, but at the same time, those who find you, you have helped them through tough times. Hang in there brother, we need more like you... as for @lifewith recklezz, great reaction.
Great reaction! I'm glad you watched this, brother. I don't know what you're going through, but I'll pray for you man. Sounds like you're on the right path, though. Stay strong, bro!
So glad you got onto Ren, Chalk Outlines is a good one by him and Chinchilla, made me cry many times Ren has, the rabbit hole is deep and is so so worth it. I hope you're OK, life isn't easy at times and I'm pretty sure most people are affected in one way or another I know I am, life has been cruel to me at times too. Much love to you guys ❤❤
Bro be strong it’s all a mental game I’ve been suffering from all sorts of stuff since the age of 12 and still. Ren will help you as he has seen it all but expressed it within music the guy is so talented and a genius!
"Don't die with your music still in you." This is one of my favorite quotes, by Wayne Dyer. Ren's music is the power of song and his story as told through it. I agree that he's a true artist, a once-in-a-lifetime artist IMO. But each of us has "music" to share, something we specifically have to offer others and the world. This, what you're doing here, is your music. Thank you for sharing it. You're helping people. And seeing people like you being positive influences for others, gives me hope for the world. "I swear to God." "On my mama!" Lol
It's such a beautiful expression of thoughts, feelings and emotion. I never thought I'd be who I am today, when I imagined my future from childhood and adolescence. But at the age of 30 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Through that fight treatment, recovery and remission I have developed fairly debilitating (at times) anxiety amongst other side effects and issues. But it's in art made by others like this and through my own personal artistic expressions that I've found so much comfort and understanding. I am eternally greatful to Artists like Ren, NF, Dave, Radiohead, The Smiths, Joy Division, The Velvet Underground, Peter Doherty, Kate Bush, The Doors, The Beatles, Wu-Tang Clan, The Kinks and my all time favourite artist David Bowie.
Ah..You just discovered Ren Discovered him myself just a few weeks ago...You can add him to your list of great Independents to explore....seems like these independence are becoming more and more interesting and deep then any of the main stream crap thats shoved down our throats.
Been watching you since you started. Always happy to see a new video. Thank you for sharing, man. You don’t know how many people you helped just by talking about it. Peace.
Brother the point where he's talking about cursing his clumsy feet and getting older and learning to relax... I see the emotion in your eyes and overall facial expression, and that hit me watching your reaction. Keep your chin up you're a pretty special guy from what we see in your reactions. You seem to be a great spouse and great dad and talented content creator 💯❤️
Reading the subtitles was a waste of your time because there are so many errors in them. His diction is very good so there is no issue with understanding him if English is your first language.
You're in for a treat if you react to more. The best thing about Ren is how talented he is while still being incredibly sick. You should really do a little homework and learn more about him and his journey because it's so heartbreaking yet inspiring. He recently did a podcast interview with Justin Hawkins from The Darkness which you can find on RUclips and he really opens up about his still daily struggles.
For me, this didn't solve all my problems or make it all better... what it did was validate it all for me and has shown me that yes it is all real. Thank you again Ren :)
i am so here for any reaction you do to Ren or his band the big push. jump into the rabbit hole my friends, you most definitely will not be disappointed! much love to you and yours.
Thank you for sharing your personal struggles. It is hard to be vulnerable! You are helping people!! I have also suffered from anxiety, especially health related. Good luck on your journey! Keep keeping on!!❤
Im so glad you guys found Ren. He can literally do anything...sing, rap, storytell..and does it all incredibly! I have been a long time follower of you guys and hate to know what you're going through. I also have PTSD and it does things to you physically and emotionally that is hard to explain. Keep up your self work and remember to give yourself grace. You and your precious family are in my prayers. You've got this.
Hey guys meet Ren! He is one of the most amazing artists of our time and that is not over statement! He can do anything! You can’t put him in one genre. Ren is a journey you need to go on. He is medicine for me! My favorite artist right now and I don’t know if that will ever change! Ren is love! I have PTSD as Ren does as well. Anxiety and depression are hand in hand with PTSD. So my heart goes out to you! Even if it’s not the same trauma I understand! Hugs to you both!!
260 here! (Fort Wayne) New Sub! Here for Ren and now staying for the Hoosiers 😂 It is nice to hear you’re doing a lot to take care of yourself. 😊 Especially at your age, it will definitely pay off.
You're in for a therapy rollercoaster ride. Hunger Chalk outlines live Love music 2 Losing it Pocket full of pain What you want I shot the sheriff, road to Zion, hip hop War pigs Hold on Fire Humble Ocean Enjoy the rollercoaster.
Shizzz… I’m in my 40’s. I’m “old” and this re-inspired me to pick up music again. I have a very expensive guitar & rig that I haven’t played for years (had a kid/career change/no one to bounce off of/etc). Ren is what we all need to spark the next wave, and I’m along for the ride 🤙
So glad you guys reacted to this. I think most of us can relate to his words in some way💕💕all of his music is powerful. I struggle with terrible anxiety. Never feel like it’s Corny to meditate, journal or do yoga. These things can really make a difference 🙏💕😊. Thanks for your vulnerability and great reaction.
Ren says writing and performing is his release, most of his songs are really deep and he has the abiilty to make a wide varity of people understand what he is saying about the world. I think you are really going to enjoy listening all of his songs.
As a 42 yr old guy with lifelong anxiety, I bawled the first couple times I watched this and teared up the next dozen. Angels and demons have it easy. They're pure good or evil, they don't have self doubt. The rest of us have this battle in our heads every day.
the voice that you hear when you loosen the Noose of the rope, this really resonated with me, it's the most amazing line in this song, having that voice there no matter how weak it maybe at times, he really puts this feeling into words, especially with the pendulum analogy
I just read this and at 43 with the same anxiety problem I relate wholeheartedly. Since I have found this rabbit hole I feel like I can face challenges easier and I’m easier on my feet. The last band that had this much of an effect on my life was and is the Dave Matthews Band. And they share some similarities: independent artist with a strong grassroots fan base that didn’t care about radio hits. Anyway I know I’m commenting on a 7 month old post so.. cheers ❤
Ren makes you think !! In ways that when you try to describe how it impacts you, you use words that you don't normally use and in ways that you don't normally do. Ren has changed Music forever. His genre-bending/Blending and storytelling has raised the Bar !! he is musically gifted. Welcome to Ren-World. The Rabbit hole is deep !!
Beautifully connects with the soul & human spirit across generations doesn't it! Above backgrounds, borders, & oceans. Living proof, you must hope & prosper, rise above challenges. Fire in the belly, is a wonderful thing. To be that talented, and have that humanity and awareness is rare. Greetings from UK.
He's the British version of Tom Macdonald in a way! This Cat plays All the instruments, makes all his beats and videos! Usually in One Shot! Recorded live!!!
thanks for checking out my song guys so glad you enjoyed it and it moved u!
Thank you for all that you are doing ❤
I'm almost 70, and you have touched me deeply on too many levels to list.
Love and best wishes to you ❤

Stay strong brother, this life is not easy. But you have a great support group, lean on them, they can take it ❤
Really enjoyed your reaction and insight, and I'm glad you're finally on the Ren train. Wish all the best for you.
Someone must have already mentioned that this was filmed live. He said he films it over and over until they get that one take. Genius!
Yo, combat vet w/ PTSD, TBI, and related. Yoga, meditation, and Psilocybin mushrooms saved my life. No joke
Listen to Sick Boi and The Hunger! So many great songs to dive into!
He is so amazing!❤ hope you will explore his other stuff! Great to see you two!!
welcome to the rabbithole man. Been following you for a while and glad you're back and found Ren. His story and music is insane.

A BIG rabbit hole you've entered!
I like this because it’s outside the box.
Too stonefaced guys
Shizzz… I’m in my 40’s. I’m “old” and this re-inspired me to pick up music again. I have a very expensive guitar & rig that I haven’t played for years (had a kid/career change/no one to bounce off of/etc).
Ren is what we all need to spark the next wave, and I’m along for the ride 🤙
Truth !
Stay strong brother we all get knocked down but its how we get back up.
thank you for reacting to my favourite artist of all time ❤❤
Dig in to Ren you will not regret it I promise
Ren is super multi talented..he can do everything! Rap..sing..story tell...
Your sound was too silent. I stopped watching.
That was live .keep going and smile🇨🇮👊
Romans 7
Spiritual battle with your demons.
That’s exactly how I took it. We are something entirely different and much more complicated.
the voice that you hear when you loosen the Noose of the rope, this really resonated with me, it's the most amazing line in this song, having that voice there no matter how weak it maybe at times, he really puts this feeling into words, especially with the pendulum analogy
Ren is honestly one of the best newer talents out now period
He's the British version of Tom Macdonald in a way! This Cat plays All the instruments, makes all his beats and videos! Usually in One Shot! Recorded live!!!
