Because there are no good motorcycles in the market lately. It's always the same single cylinder 200-300cc trash with 30-40hp. Even the RE triplets are getting overrated now.
To be honest i feel that PD has lost the charm what it earlier use to have. everything feels like more effort is put in and there is some pressure. earlier it was just like waterfall, smooth and precise. please don't get me wrong loved the hard work you guys put in and been a subscriber since Power to rider days. Please get the umphh back

Bang on ! You are absolutely right, its just not meant for our markets. RE is not saying it but its made for overseas markets where roads are straight like an arrow and smooth. Pune is the last place on the Earth its meant to be ridden.

Super Meteor is made keeping western market in mind..... It is not meant or made for India... A few enthusiasts here may buy it, but Royal Enfield's ultimate goal for this machine is eating the cruiser share of American market
I have a Himalayan 450 and this is next. City, traffic or whatever, it's very smooth and fun to ride. Extremely comfortable to ride that's what matters.
You Guys in Cities are lucky to ride the Super Meteor 650 and make videos for youtube . In a place like Miraj Sangli District Maharashtra I'm still waiting for a test ride and it seems that Royal Enfield is not too interested in this market as they don't even reply to emails
And for that reason only I booked a Classic 350 Chrome, the last of the timeless Classics in thoroughly modern undertones, as the replacement for my 19 years old Karizma to work as a city runaround. For the highways, I already own much bigger machines. You got this review spot on!

Comparing it with bigger HD Softails and upwards will not be a fair comparison. But given the price bracket and looks along with fit and finish, it will definitely sell in India. Though you should really consider this bike if your primary riding is on good smooth highways.

Requirement: 1. Need a bike for family of 3(Me,wife and a baby)- received comments that himalayan pillion seat height space will be bit difficult for wife and baby. Suggested super meteor celestial variant as seat is wider than other two and backrest is provided. 2. Very minimal off road use. More city and highways. - Suggested super meteor since it's good for highway rides. 3. Looking for daily commute to office and home. - bit sceptical about engine heat in city traffic and heard that meteor chainspoket and back breakpads doesn't last morethan 3k kms. Appreciate suggestion from owners and experts. Thanks in Advance 😊
I got mine delivered in Pune few days back the interstellar green .. honestly it’s my machine only for highway in city I’ll stick to my car or activa. Jokes aside don’t even bother much to ride on congest r roads. Buy it only to experience the new highways ..
There is a lot of videos that’s out there talking about how good is SM650 is !! But if you ask me is this power drift made content It’s definitely a thumbs down for me !! From a fanboy perspective power drift misses it’s strong storytelling & any the kind of songs they use to match the cinematography !! Come on guys !!! Still have huge hopes on PD army

It's an international product like triumph , we should have an open mind and know the limitations for this bike because of suspension and ride height settings
No matter how many complaints RE service centers receive or people talk about how unreliable RE bikes are. I get attracted to RE just because how gorgeous they look
Top notch review when it comes to delivering what the bike is all about, visuals were great as well. I agree it isn’t as bonkers as some PD reviews but not every bike review has to be like that.
Tbh I was so looking forward to this bike, but this is a classic disappointment. It's not comfortable, at all. That's the only primary requirement cruisers need to meet and they failed.
It's not acceptable not wearing black leather jacket, denim pants, black openface helmet, and a wayfarer sunglasses, to review this kind of motorcycles..
Dear reviewer this bike's weight distribution is better than that of those cafe racer bikes of royal Enfield. It is easier to move this bike in riding position even if your bike engine is in stop position. I think you should study the bike and give the bike more time
I used to hate RE back then, and when I watched the Continental GT 535 from PD, I fell in love with the bike, the hype, the enthu, and the energy this channel used to have. God now PD videos are depressing, sad, lack energy and sound like a sloth. I have been watching this channel since you guys made the video of a Hyosung and the way you guys grew and now this.
Unless Indian roads remove all those illegal speed breakers don't even bother looking at something below 160mm ground clearance. No matter how much you like your bike that scrapping feeling will take all those good feelings out of you.
RE will not come near the Potato. RE needs to improve and Potato potato will come from V Twin only. Get your RE ACT to Improve after sales. We Enjoy the V Twin
Powerdrift needs to review their bikes in dombivli as dombivli has the worst roads and worst speed breakers you can ever find. If you can ride a bike there you can ride it anywhere.
If the deliveries have been faster there would have been one in my parking by now.. fantastic design that just blows away all pros & cons out of the window. But RE needs to deliver faster.. bad asses wanting these bikes are not used to standing in queue for months. About the video it was decent.. didnt like the posture of the fellow riding that bike. but tht might not be his fault as this bike will do everything it can to crush your lower back .. :)
The Hunter is the most affordable 350 out there almost Ronin like prices..the Interceptor 650 is the most affordable 650cc bike ever made...so RE's pricing as a brand is exactly where it needs to be...... Value for money
