Timer Input Capture Programming - Capturing timestamps using timers of STM32F4 microcontroller

  • In this lecture, We are going to write program for implementing Timer Output Compare Program for generating pulses of 2seconds time period that is one second ON and one second OFF pulse in Arduino for the microcontroller STM32F446RE using Register Level Programming without using the inbuilt Library and Header files of Keil IDE. Pulse generating will be having 500mHZ frequency, 50% dutycycle and 2seconds timeperiod.
    Further the above output from timer output compare module is read via input signal in timer input capture module and further the timestamp is captured for each seperate events.
