Heaton Parkrun 02/03/2024

I ran Heaton Park in 20:36 and finished 26th. Event number 624.
This event was voted for on my Facebook running channel. I did one better I cycled up to Heaton Park and put the "4km" and the "Cafe Corner" sign and carried the pacers bag from the car, every little helps I guess, I'll see if it counts as a volunteer credit, when emailing them the footage. It is my 1 year anniversary of using the Go-Pro (I think). It's great to catch up with the regulars and subscribers at the events.
I meet a nice young man who ran with me and a little girl overtook me near the finish, she was really fast. The young man's words were the best way to describe it, we were both really going for it and doing our best, we shook hands at the end and took a selfie.
I am sorry for shouting at Duncan at the beginning of the run. It was freezing and it was starting to rain. We all love Duncan and he's a bit of a legend really. So no offense to him.
This running event is again not sponsored by any company or "Raid Shadow Legends". It was a joke.
