love your work Jason, this video in particular is something piano students of any level should watch
Thank you soo much for these kind words!🙏🏼
I, at 70 years old, have been teaching myself to play piano for 8 months now, getting very frustrated at times, after watching this video, so many issues fall into place, particularly finding things have actually clicked the following day, when I never thought they would! Incredibly insightful, helpful video!
I am really glad you found the lesson useful!😇
So many concepts put into place in one lesson, I will adopt a very different approach to my practice, I may even try singing, (I have a terrible voice) which I have never done in my life!!!
That's so nice to know! Thanks a ton!
So beautifully explained, as usual, Jason!! It is a treat to watch your very informative and interesting videos. Thanks very much for sharing! I am learning so much from you.. but, a long way to go.
I am really glad the lesson was helpful to you!😇
😳 “The engine”, mine sounds like it has a couple plug wires off. lol
Your playing and voice is so smooth. Hoping I can get to a fraction of that. Thank you Sir!

Wonderful! Glad you enjoyed the lesson!🙏🏼
Breathing definitely helps, sometimes "listening" through the hands - hearing the hands part while playing. But reminding myself to breath helps me relax and stop being afraid of making mistakes.
Well said. Breathing is one of the important thing while playing any instrument. 🤘🏽
great advice on practicing and not judging yourself right in the moment. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
