Why was he driving without his number plate though. That doesn’t make sense. But the other bylaws are gay.

That's the most political looking organised car meet gathering I've ever seen.. 👏👍
In our car meets; we get ideas and help each other to look the part. No bosses or hotheads. But i am speaking of late 80s to 90s in Aus.. ..and it's easy to spot a show off (rich parents) that try to play hard..
Impounded cars was like losing a limb for a few weeks or worse, months..

i didnt wanna get political here and it wasnt really even tho a political party showed up i didnt make it about them in this video as that wasnt my intention. With the impounding gosh i can only imagine how difficult it must be and how hard it must feel to have your baby impounded!!

@@YusufPetersenCPT ..impound for crushing is the wrose..
One of our states here have a law where the car is fully taken away, meaning never to recieve it back no matter the payments.. ..then they crush it along with other impounded vehicles..
I've seen collector cars worth alot demolished due to court orders.. ..the pain, indescribable..

It's become very clear that the DA is working for big business. If u can't mod your car, you gonna have to go for original parts. So only big business benefits. Perhaps they sponsor the DA party

Here's my issue 1. You need to first test the waters with a law like this not wake up one morning and day ok go. 2. Look at the positive from this car modifying, we are making the youth wanna work hard so they can afford to have what we have now and instead of spending that R1000 on drugs we fit car parts so it keeps the community safe, 3. Some times the cars cannot go back to stock it's too expensive or the car is too old. The dealerships are scammers these days.
My personal issue is that having moved here recently from JHB my car is illegal but legal in jhb as it's never had issues with the law but here cause it's a nice car, I'm young, and I have GP plates I feel like I'm being victimised. My question is what if I am from out of cape town and I am not aware of this by law which alot of the country is not aware of then does that mean that unknown to me I can end up stranded with a family here?

Everybody spoke???? Who did they speak to??? Amongst themselves??? Or to those that should be listening. If they arrogant and don't wanna listen! What will u do? It's simple...MAKE THEM LISTEN. you see if the taxi industry just sat back and didn't force things all their taxis would be impounded. Do you seriously think just meeting at the beach n airing your views are gonna make them take note of you? Apartheid had to be forcefully removed and yet you think a day st the beach having sum counseling session is gonna make those in charge think twice. U delusional if you think just talking is gonna help

Well I just went to witness as a community even within we are divided this atleast brought those out in the open to get on the same page. Since then there has been a much better understanding of what is going on much more was said I didn't get in for me it was a show of support as I am part of this community of car lovers but I also recognize the rule of law in most aspects.

@YusufPetersenCPT maaf. If I offended you. My point is this. In apartheid there was the death penalty then people got together fought apartheid, won that fight and got together to legislate the death penalty out of law. People did this. It did not magically happen. Everyday laws gets challenged and rewritten. If they not listening to us then it's because we are mice, sheep, uneducated or they recognize we lack the drive to confront and challenge them in such a way that they loose sleep, get nightmares, etc so much that they come to us and say we have heard u n we changing the laws so how do u citizens want it to be?. I'm saying this challenge could be the same as the strike with the same ferocity or it could be us gathering commitments from every single person out there that we will not vote DA until it changes. N ya u right its not JP but did u see JP make proposals to national on changing it? Even national government said they to harse. Or perhaps u feel that a gathering that does not cover peaceful force will change the minds of the DA? I can tell u now as long as they are not obligated to they will not change the law and I'm saying let's strategise on how to make them obligated. Let's canvas every car lover to not vote DA until they sign on the dotted line. Let's picked on the road saying don't vote DA till they loose votes and I promise u will see how they come running...or u can bring lunch to the beach
