Framing Cheney as someone with the attitude of an individual American maverick is total propaganda. Cheney has always been loyal to his main client, the Council on Foreign Relations. He is a very untrustworthy person who invents justifications for genocide and complete foreign policy disasters that cost Americans trillions - but whose real interests are the strategic control of regions and resources, as outlined by the CFR. The CFR in no way cares about either the "security" or the economy as it relates to American citizens. When he and his pals at the CFR say the word "security" they mean the security of their power and the growth of their wealth. In addition, there are about a hundred unanswered questions about what took place on 9/11 and I bet Cheney has some of those answers. I also bet they would lead to the arrest and imprisonment of certain people connected to or in the Bush administration.
Please ask this man to read the Russ Baker Book, Secrets of the Bush Family, and let us know if his oppinion about him being the best Defense Secretary change at all.
