The grief we feel when we lose them is the price we pay for all they bring us - it's a terribly high price, but they are worth it. Something very special happened while you read your poem. My cat Elvis, who is semi feral, is terrified of men, but as soon as he heard your voice, he hopped down from the back of the couch and settled down on my lap, which he rarely if ever does and listened. I think that was a message from Oscar, that all is well❤
