Hey Omar, you should do an interview with Roy Thomas! I emailed him once and he is such a nice person, I'm sure it would make for a great interview! Moreover, that man is living history and a true comic book legend

Yep, I'm waiting for an Epic too. It would probably take 2 Epics to equal all of this Omni. Marvel has been putting out Epics pretty quickly for Conan the Barbarian while still putting out Omnis, so here's hoping they'll do the same for Kull.
Tempting, hoping they bring the savage sword of Conan omnibus til the very end. Those are my favorite omnibus being collected right now. I’ll probably grab this when I get a chance if it doesn’t sell out
100% in for this! Give me all the REH comics! I do hope Marvel and Dynamite can come to an agreement for a Red Sonja omni of her series and SSOC appearances, as they should strike while the market is there for the older work.

Love the variety you get in this omnibus. I love the black and white magazine stories (I’m a fan of all kinds black and white magazine stories anyways). It’s a nice break between all the bright colours.
I have this pre-ordered and am really looking forward to this. I got issue 23 as a kid and the ending left me in suspense for over 20 years until I found 24 in a back issue bin!
This is the kind of story I dumpster dive comment sections for! Love hearing these fun personal stories and how the comics within impacted us all.
Same here...23 was part of a sealed 3-pack at the grocery store. It took about 10 years before I found the next issue at Comic-Con

the first kull omnibus was awesome. So many good stories like when he peers into the mirror every day and almost gets lost in it. The omni and stories were really good im a huge fan now so im picking these up for sure.
Nice overview as always. Kull #4 was a favorite 70s comic of mine. I still have it and read it again recently and was struck by how dense the storytelling is. There's at least three modern issues worth of story in that one comic. Doesn't get better. The modern recolors fail as always in comparison, but what you don't know won't hurt you. Thanks, Omar!
I preordered this like a year ago, along with The Conqueror. Super stoked, but started to wonder why it was so late. Glad it's still coming. Cory knocked it out of the park with the extras. I believe he sourced a bunch of original artwork from Kull Collectors, and their generosity is to all our benefit. I have an 11 hour flight at the end of the year with an almost 4 hour layover. I plan to bring this time to help pass that time.
They are coming, I promise.

Never read kull but just ordered the black & white omnibus
I think if more people knew Hull was Conan's family the comic would do better numbers. I think they Conan was created form the start as a better (more complicated and well rounded) character from a creator (than kull) who was learning how to make characters, and so he got a lot of love from the start and throughout history, but with a good KULL run or two maybe the perspective will change, but because of the shear number of stories KULL will never be Conan.... saying that making KULL close the gap in number of stories would be healthier for the universe anyways.
This is the one I have been waiting for!
Got the DM covers for the destroyer and conquerer ordered. The art in destroyer looks great. Can’t wait to read this trilogy of Kull omni’s
I have the Dark Horse Chronicles but the reproduction quality in them was very poor so I am going to upgrade to this edition.
Looks great! I bought the first Kull omnibus and will definitely be buying this and the third one. Then I’ll read them in chronological order 👍🏼
That kull omnibus collection looks great. But I'm waiting for the expanded Captain Britain Omnibus.

I don't need this video to know that I want this. I've wanted this for a while now. This, and the collection of the 80's series. But I guess its nice to know that I can blame the delayed release on the distributor changes, and that I hadn't just imagined the earlier release dates...
It looks not only does it double dip with the B&W Kull Omni but quite a few of the color stories are almost panel for panel the same. Wish Omar would have gone over the differences between the two.

I dont collect Conan in colors only the Savage Sword in black and white but these 2 Kull in colors I’ll get them for sure.
Excited for this! I have it, as well as the other Kull preordered! Same goes with all the Conan books! Not going to lie, I was bummed this one was pushed back. I was looking forward to it!
Now we just need a reprint of Savage Sword Vol 1.
These next 2 are going to look great on my Conan shelf.

I'm on the fence, it looks good and I have the other omnibus but I'm not sure. I was surprised by Conan and have enjoyed it a lot so there is a good possibility.
Just got Kull the Destroyer omnibus. The paper is thin. What is Marvel doing? Kull the Destroyer at slightly over 800 pages is literally half the size of my Incredible Hulk vol. 1 omnibus which is slightly over 750 pages. The Marvel heads who destroyed comic book collecting are now hard at work on the omnibus market.

It was so good and the art was phenomenal.
I was interested in this but not at 125$ for 808 pages and 38% discount. They can’t sell Kull the Barbarian and that has 952 pages and now going for 65% discount. The future for collected editions is not looking good with first covid then distribution changes, cancellations, delays and price hikes, and now what looks like lower discounts. This on top of stupid spine lettering changes and what ever it is DC is doing.
I don’t even know what DC is doing.
Whats the correct reading order for the 3 omnibuses?
