- Teaching assistant and self-described 'leftist' Lindsay Shepherd was reprimanded by administration at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2017. Her wrongdoing? Showing a TVO debate featuring Jordan Peterson to her students to encourage critical discussion.

This is exactly what is disgusting about our university system. That administrator basically said " we aren't teaching them how to think, we are supposed to be teaching them WHAT TO THINK." They don't have the tools to unpack this....? WTF
idk what context was it that required the showing of that debate in a grammar and communication class but accusing her of 'gender bias' and 'transphobia' is ridiculous, comparing it to a hitler speech and that the students are 'not ready' for that clip it's both hilarious and harrowing at the same time.
I'd say the context is self explanatory. Some people are incapable of communication and if the they can hurt the ones that can they will.
I wish she had filed a human rights complaint.
