tanja lapalm the medicine is not that bad.. it is toxic yes but there are small simple steps you can take to live a normal life and feel just as healthy as the next person. Take your ARVs but try and get the best ones, the newer ones that are non toxic to the kidneys (the new form of tenofovir) then get yourself a prescription for human growth hormone (for lipodystrophy, general health and youth/energy) and a statin for Cholesterol, also metformin for blood sugar/lipodystrophy, your quality of life will improve so dramatically and you will forget you even have HIV, then you need to get on with surviving the next 15years until we have functional cures for all. Drugs like morphine, oxycodone and methadone along with cannabis also work wonders and there very highly recommended (for pain people on ARVs get from peripheral neuropathy and also cannabis helps with appetite and general health but vape it or cook with it, don’t smoke it!)
Also an interesting thing with ARVs, some people have stopped them and realised they are ‘post treatment controllers’ where the virus remains controlled from your time on ARVs! Functional cures, and they are becoming more and more common, were almost at the end so just hold on

      ARV IS A DEATH SENTENCE...

hiv was a death sentence in the 80s, 90s and perhaps early 2000s. it remains a serious chronic illness but it is no longer a death sentence in industrialized nations where ppl have access to drugs. in poorer parts of the world, it is a death sentence.
