The pirates now are in a period where they are close to a breakthrough and need someone who will help them in the next couple of years and not what will probably be around 4 for Clark. I think they should either go Skenes or Langford.

I’m not totally sold on the Blake Mitchell pick. With Ethan Salas already at single A as a 17 year old playing well, the organization has been very clear that he’s the catcher of the future. I don’t watch much tape though, so maybe Mitchell is just that good that you take him anyway
As someone who played against Blake mitchel the past 2 years including this year he is a absolute stud. He can throw the ball from his knees and the shortstop doesn’t even have to move his glove. As a team we were scared to get a lead off on him. As a hitter you can’t play a shift on him because he can hit the ball all over the field and he can hit it where he wants too. Now as a base runner he was a pretty good base runner he was able to steal third base on our Cather who was hard to steal on. He was one of the faster players I have seen this year in our State championship run. He is a very humble player and gives credit to everyone else around him. Overall an absolute Stud
I think the Astros should draft 23 year old Braden Jobert. He just won the college World Series with LSU and has a really nice swing. He also had the final homer in the college WS

The Padres do not have lots of money to spend in this draft because of the luxury tax and making the NLCS last year, so I could definitely see Preller and co drafting an underslot guy in the first to save some cash. Nabbing Ethan Salas in the international siginings was as good as a number one overall pick IMO
The Yankees don’t need any more middle infield prospects we have multiple great SS prospects in the minors and are teaching others to play different positions because there is so many infielders where as the outfield is lacking at the big league level and in the minor leagues
