    Compared to Cushions, Sand bed is more intact, and thus it can only be compressed for little distance which brings lesser time to change in momentum to 0 when athletes fall over it. Whereas in Cushions, it can be compressed for more distance than sand beds hence giving more time to change in momentum to 0 when athlete fell over it.
    Hence the pain felt by athlete when falling over sand beds is more than the pain felt over when falling over cushions.

    In a sand bed athelete will get more damage than on coushion bed because sand will not be able to hold for much time since Cushion is more elastic it will take time to touch the ground, And as a result athelete will get little/negligible damage.

    (1) When the athlete, after jumping, lands on a cushion bed, the cushion bed compresses thereby increasing the time for momentum to become 0. As the time of change in momentum increases, the Force exerted decreases and it will thus hurt less.
    (2) Sand had comparatively lower compressibility than cushion. So when the athlete lands on the Sand bed after jumping, the athlete will get more hurt as the time in which momentum turns to 0 is very less and hence the exerted Force increases.

    Sir when you resolve how 6g sin53 comes on inclined PLANE. Why cant be cos sin53 because adjacent side will be cos right.
    Or are you rotating axis orientation as like you reached before.
    Can you tell.
    All other understand

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  2 года назад +2

      Hi there! Thanks for your comment, we really appreciate the feedback. You are correct, the adjacent side to 6g sin53 on the inclined plane would be cosine, however what we are looking at here is the angle of the inclined plane which means we need to rotate the axis of orientation. We hope this explanation has cleared up any confusion. Thanks for watching our video!

    Sir, the athlete will get more hurt in sand cause the athlete is coming with a fast speed which will result to high force as the athlete lands and that high force of athlete will make the sand particles to act like solid whereas the cushion will srink but as we know it will store that force and send back resulting the athlete to move up a little again .
