I used Loopcloud a lot in this vid. Here's the link if you want to try it out for free! bit.ly/33CqJuR 🔥 Question of the Day ⚡ What artist do you want me to cover next?
Firstly, AMEN BROTHER! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm! Do you reckon you could break down the sub-genres of popular EDM, particularly the differences in House, and Trance? I.e. the overall structure, character, sound design, tonality, etc? I hope those Metro Gnomes are staying safe!
This is a proper masterclass, I'm a beginner in Ableton so I found it a little fast at points but the thought process and seeing your workflow is gold for me and I'm sure many people......thank you so much for creating and sharing 🙂
Been watching Will since I started making music two years ago. There were some videos I watched where a lot of the stuff felt foreign, but the good thing with his videos, there are bits for beginners and those more advancer producers. Would recommend rewatching things.
Oh my God. That SC Trigger thingy that you're using just to sidechain and have it actually produce no sound is actual chess brain... All while casually producing a UKF ready DNB track. Mental. We love you!! THANKS !!!
one of the best purchases ive ever made was a korg microkey back in the late 2000s in college. the midi controller wasnt great, but it gave me a free copy of Korg M1 Le and it has featured in almost every EP and LP i've done since 2008. its absolutely brilliant even in this lite version love your videos, you have helped me get started on writing my next record with your great energy and teaching ability. its fun to watch you. thank you!
Love the videos. By far the best tutorials on RUclips but I’m a little biased as a fellow Brit. My only comment is that I’d love if you ended videos by playing back the whole point of where you got to. It’s a nice recap despite not being finished. Thanks for de-complicating producing!
Amen brother! I make other genres mainly but there is nothing more fun than making a fat drum n bass track! Thanks for the great tips as usual, especially love the pads. lots of ideas to try on my next liquid track, nice work again Will 👏 🔥
My dude your energy and teaching style is amazing, Ive been watching your vids a couple years now and have learned and benefited a lot from them even purchased one of your courses once. Just wanted you to know that! Keep it up mate love the vids!
Will always gets me inspired to go and make music! Love these long re-create sound tutorials as well. It really helps improve the thought processes! And Will always ends up with a banger!
Heck yeah bro!! Love me some DnB, so watching you put together the track was informative, but also a blast as well. When you said lead I had already been like, dude needs a lead to put it in the realm of big stage banger. :D I'd love to see/listen to you put together any sort of jungle-inspired track, even if it was a post-modern style of said genre, as the whole sound palette of that is totally underused WELL at least nowadays. Love the video & happy music my dude! p.s. I almost forgot: Hell yeah brother!
I don't even listen to DnB but this one got me excited to get producing, always awesome to watch you build out a banger. Next time you're feeling trancy maybe some Allen Watts, I'm trying to nail that sound right now and it's HARD to get those rushing melodies and huge leads he's known for
@@EDMTips Well, Spor (Supernova), Noisia (Long Gone), Evol Intent (Middle of The Night), Future Prophecies (September), Netsky (500 Days of Summer), but I know, that most of these are kinda agressive. But I'd really like to see tutorials also like Naden (Binary Days, Ventosus), Koan (When the Silence Is Speaking album), Emancipator (Eve) or Carbon Based Lifeforms (World of Sleepers album). Thanks!
I always love watching you having fun...told you that before. 👍 Im not even a dnb fan...but i watched every second. Great job...👍👍👍 ❤☮☯❤☮☯❤☮☯❤☮☯❤☮☯❤☮☯❤
I appreciate this long videos, the process and the simple explanations with out bs. I loved the pads and the arp, and serves its purpose on my lofi beats. Cause Im not fan of drum n bass, but this is gold.v❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 hell yeah (I already want to fire the daw)

What's that sc trigger bit???
Good tutorial not pure liquid though the snare straight away is punchy and synthetic sounding should be more snappy and natural
Cheers, I am glad you liked it 🙂
Love u will
Amen hell yeah i am still watching lol
33:36 so satisfying
Sadly the end was a bit rushed, I hoped you'd mix everything together to create an entire track. I did learn alot from it though.
Thanks for the feedback, Tim! Glad you liked the most of it!
Ahhhhhhmen brother
How to slice midi notes??
I'm still watching :) lol 39:26 - leifo
Boomm, Taxi or Epic 😂
💥🚕🤯 = 🙌🏻
I've tried several times to get your templates, and twice now (this one included) is not sending me anything after taking my name and email. What am I doing wrong?
Hey there, please email team@edmtips.com and we'll look into this for you asap.
Mate, this isn't liquid dnb at all. It's jump up dnb lol. Just listen to those smashing drums and bass. Nothing about that is liquid 😂
Agree it's not liquid. It's dancefloor with a jump up ish bass.
AHHHHMEN
Appreciate it! 🙌🙏
Where is the audio?
I can hear it well.
In the video :P
early gang
Cheers, appreciate it!🙏🏻
Not sure I’d call it liquid. That drop is jump-up as f***
Thanks for the feedback!
