- Zorra was full of surprises on this visit! I'm glad she's become so trusting with me, it's very rewarding to experience... especially from such a unique squirrel like her.

She’s putting her hand on your finger to “mark” you as a food source. They do that to food bowls, or nuts they can’t carry away so that they can find them later. ❤️🐿

Princess Zorra’s trust in you is noticeably growing with every visit - at this rate, you won’t have to worry about trying to stroke her tail, before long she’s just going to start climbing on you all on her own!
She’s so gentle when she interacts with you too, it shows how self aware she is & how keen she is to not hurt or startle you either. I loved watching her investigating your hand, rather than just looking at you for more food. She seems to be as curious about you as you are about her!
