So glad she finally showed up (fashionably late 😅) so you don't have to worry about her! I love the relationship you have established with Zorra. Thank you for continuing to share this by posting these videos.
Zora and her beautiful tail...her face and markings. I just can't get over such a squirrel exists. I could watch her all day long....like I watched the handsome and brilliant Seymour ❤❤❤❤❤❤
So glad we get the joy of seeing her and all her beauty and sounds..being around Squirrels everyday is pure joy..that tail is gorgeous..do your Squirrel kids smell Zorra and give you attitude?😂how can you get anything else done, when you have Squirrels to play with? I wouldn't be very successful doing chores😁..❤love the closeups
That tail is definitely “look, but don’t touch” at your current relationship status 😂 She seemed pretty calm about sticking around with you once she’d re-established the rules though, so she can’t be too upset about it. I once gently stroked the back of one of my most friendly grey squirrel’s paws after she’d come & taken a nut from my hand (which had involved her happily holding my fingers with her paws & then sitting right next to me to eat it) & she was most unhappy. She wouldn’t come close to me again for 3 or 4 days - I had to throw her nuts until she felt comfortable enough to come back close enough to be hand fed) Much like you, I’m guessing those cute little ears of hers must have caught the sound of something that roused her attention. Her little trundling walk looks unusual though. I know greys do their own version of it, but Zorra’s proportionally longer limbs & body make it appear a bit different. She’s an absolutely beautiful animal & it’s such a privilege to get to see her & watch your relationship with her grow as time goes by. I just hope she doesn’t leave it so long until she returns next time!
Squirrels here in VA have babies in the nest right now. When she stands up can you see her nipples? She may have a nest of babies if you're not seeing her every day..
I check every time and she's definitely not nursing, I think she's less than a year old. She may be ready for the next baby season, although I've read that these Sherman's don't have litters as often as grays. Her infrequent visits are most likely because of the distance she's traveling, and some of the obstacles along the way. There's a momma cow with a hyper baby that I see running around the area that Zorra has to cross, and that neighbor visits his cows everyday & parks in that same area also. There's a hungry fox that walks through that area also (sometimes I get excited when I see the big bushy orange tail in the distance and then realize it's not Zorra but the dang fox). There are also coyotes somewhere back there that I've never seen but hear nightly. She doesn't have it easy and she must think it's worth it to trek over towards me.
@@SeymourtheSquirrel I'm sure she doesn't have it easy at all...My problem are Hawks..I don't even release anything on my property any more and I live in the country.. They have so many enemies..I had 2 different Delmarva fox squirrel here..Both disappeared..They have become rare from over hunting and the constant freaking building destroying the land..I hope this beautiful girl stays safe..You could maybe build acouple boxes , put up in a good tree closer to you...I can guve ya some measurements and show ya where to put shelves in at. To keep little coon arms out.lol..i have 2 females with babies in 2 boxes I made for rescue squirrels.. Fingers crossed. Just got purple martin house up. I have to straighten up acouple blue bird boxes and I'm ready for crazy town spring to start. lol
She certainly has developed a trust for you. Such an amazing gift for you both. ❤❤

Her fur colors are so beautiful. Even the multi colored bands at her front and back paws
Aww! I love her! 😍 The squirrels I feed in my back yard will occasionally rub their tails on my arm or hand and it's always a delight. 😁
Such a beautiful squirrel! ❤️🐿
Princess Zorra's adorable face when she eats and looks at you is too much cuteness for me to take!

@@SeymourtheSquirrel She has her reasons for sure, squirrels are smart.
Don't you have grey squirrels in your region ?
She keeps you busy, it's good.

How is she.. Brad? Been 11 days since this vid....
Does Zorra know you care for other squirrels in your home?
I haven't told her, but it's possible she's smelled squirrel scents on my hands.
