For everyone else - here is a quick mic test and demonstration of its noise cancellation/ sound isolation. Sorry for the cruddy video quality, I just quickly filmed this on my old webcam.
Yeah, that’s totally good enough, really appreciate the help, definitely earned a sub. Just was stuck between purchasing this and the Corsair HS80s but this might’ve cleared up the problem for me.

Unfortunately the worst thing about this headset which makes it unpurchaseable is it being from razer, if by some miracle the hardware doesn't break, they will make sure it will with some firmware update to synapse.
Such a shame because if not for that it's the best in the price range.
Yeah I've had some mixed experiences with Razer products over the years. I will say though, Synapse used to be significantly worse than it is now. Still a bit ridiculous with 14 processes running in the background, but I avoid opening it unless I'm doing a demo. Hardware is a different story - have a DAV3 Pro, scroll wheel was complete garbage after less than a year of usage. This is my first headset from them, so we will see how it stands the test of time.

I don't think so buddy. Box says "PC / MAC / PLAYSTATION / SWITCH / IOS / ANDROID"
