    What a week and because of your videos we've all had a good week. In all my years of hunting, I've never hit a cache like you found. Awesome scrapers! Man..

      Yea it is a pretty good spot. And it has been sifted for 40 years too. Imagine what that place was like when I first found it in 1980...it was loaded 10 times as much.

    I do love an Amos with a hanging barb, Rocks. Those endscrapers are awesome, they were as useful in the preparation of meats as the points were in getting them.❤

    I dont know how you spot all of those endscrapers so easily. It would take me three days to go through one of those screens without throwing artifacts back into the river…lol. You are tuned in!!! Great finds…great vid.

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  3 месяца назад +1

      It is hard to tell looking at it from the camera stand point. But I see the chipped flint almost immediatly. It sticks out like a sore thumb. I can look an entire screen like that in like 15 seconds. It is not nearly as tough to spot the stuff as you think

    Forensic archeology. Man the lessons and the understanding when you're standing in a spot like that. Amos and big Sandy, great material. I believe you said that brush Creek chert is not local. There's a lot of it there. They loved it enough to bring that in. It is also interesting. Have fun!

    Let’s go!!! You killed that trip!!! Awesome pocket there!!! so here’s a question for you. Do you think they just left all their tools there and moved away died off got runoff by white men. What do you think happened all their stuff still there they didn’t take anything with them when they left? Or they did just have so much of it, they couldn’t take everything with them?
